I'm gonna take stab in the dark here and guess you were born in the mid to late 90s. Fluttershy is not dress like a hooker and Big Macintosh is not dressed like a pimp. Its just how everyone wore their manes back then.
Ah, and obviously I think she should be named Fleur. If the fandom chooses Elizabeth, eh, there are ways to work with that. (Find some way to make two words sound like "Elizabeth", ect.) I personally like Fleur de Soliel, or Fleur Soliel, because Fleur deLis sounds so... obvious? But I like the sound of that one, too.

I've been calling her Hangers On, but any of those names would sound good.
I like Fleur as a name for her too. Doesn't seem like a monochrome/flat character, despite the apparant trophy wife situation she may or may not be in. Especially considering Fancy Pants is definetly more rounded and clever than his stereotyped position. I take it to be that she is a companion of sorts. Reminds me of Inara from Firefly.

The name and designation as a Veela pony fits so well that I see no other name that would do. 1) I loved the way this pony was constantly going Vogue while Fancypants and Rarity talked. I don't have a strong opinion on her name either way.
2) Didn't we already see this Fluttershy, only with that big Soul Caliber eyeball sword? Either way, she might want to get that thing on her neck looked at.
3) Heh... Parsley. I enjoyed this.
4) I like that pony Pinkie. And I think she stuffed a redhead in her party canon.
5) Scootaloo knows her awesome. She's studied it all her life.
6) I know I've seen this before, because it's too awesome to forget.
7) I love Rarity more and more with each appearance. And I already loved her a whole lot before this episode. Nicely shaded and softly colored portrait here.

ReplyDeleteAnd so many comments too. I guess cause everyone is trying to name this pony themselves. lol From what I've seen of the names, my favorite has been Fleur De Lis. That seems to be the most popular and what many are calling her now. So it's looking like that it.
I'm really tired so no long post from me tonight. But all the Fleur De Lis art... dang. There's A LOT of it and it came about FAST. No surprise there though. lol People seem to really take to the ponies that are modeled closer to Celestia and Luna. Just look at Allie Way and how popular she got as well. Pretty awesome stuff.
I also love Beatnik Rarity. xD And Pinkie and her party cannon. Acouple other really popular moments from this new episode. And overly-excited jumping Lyra just makes me smile too. <3

ReplyDeleteTrue, which is one reason I don't really think that was Celestia as that new background pony, though I do find that idea amusing. If she has been going around disguised in the series, I'd say it's more likely she's one of the clone Lyras. ;)
And am I the only one who thinks Criniere Rose is pretty enough, but not drop-dead gorgeous? Her appeal, to me, was mostly because of the way she was always striking a pose.
