ReplyDeleteMLP V was pretty awesome idea with decent execution, but I couldn't help but feel at times he was choosing clips that didn't really fit the mood :-S

The Cars trailer was excellent. It captured the feel of the original perfectly. The typography vid was, of course, awesome as well.

#3 For once, 3D actually works. BUT IT REALLY NEEDS SOMETHING TO FILL THE EXTREME BLACKNESS OF THIS ENDLESS AND VASTLY INFINITE SPACE WHICH IS SO FREGGIN EMPTY. But either way, it was in fact EXCELLENT, but still has more potential, which I was hoping to see during the middle. and sometimes the angles and positions of the clauses are just too eccentric and random.
Quite like the first one!

#1: I had already seen the "Real Gone" music video taking the opening from Cars and setting Rainbow Dash in it, so the general idea of this wasnt new, but the editing of this trailer was remarkably well done and awesome all on it's own.

#3: no idea what this was, but it was hypnotic to watch.
If you don't like the rap or hiphop, check out the original song for #3 "Beyond her Garden" - Wooden Toaster. I for one like them both :D Great 3D stuff right there!

ReplyDelete#1 was pretty good, but I am not really a fan of spoof trailers. For some reason I could see a rainbow dash spoof trailer like this for "Fast and Furious" working out.

#3 .. simple. Simple is good.
The song, despite being rap (I normally don't like rap) is actually very good.. I just get jarred a little when the pitch of the vocals goes UP when I feel like it should go down. For instance when the line "not quite as it seems" goes up at the end and stretches. I feel like it should go down in pitch and have a somewhat quick stop. At least I think that's how to describe it..
Just my opinion though.
I would love GTA with ponies. It'd be both kinda odd but still pretty cool to me.

#2 Hmm, not seen the GTA V trailer, so can't really say much on this.
#3 Love this song. Like many it seems, it's one of my favorites. This was pretty cool and fun to watch. I really like it.
The picture inspired me to make a Deus Ex-MLP crossover. Thanks.
