This one kind of stumped me a bit. Included in a FiM German magazine is a toy pony guitar. That does seem a bit random! Maybe we can expect some Rainbow Dash rockin out with Octavia in season two?

I wouldn't be so optimistic, honestly. I just saw a commercial on TV about Pinkie Pie's car. The likelihood of that guitar being relevant to the show is astronomically low.

ReplyDeleteI had this idea when that Rainbow Dash guitar game-thingy was posted.
I was thinking of a blue Flying V with Dashie's cutie mark on the lower 'wing' where the knobs are and a rainbow colored neck, maybe a rainbow stripe somewhere across the body if it fits.
Though I don't think I can do it within a year from now; I'd want it to look perfect and I don't have enough money for that.
That is a ukulele, guitars have 6 strings.

As for the guitar and how its tuned, what it actually is. It's just a cheap plastic toy guitar with cheat plastic strings. No tuning them either I'm sure. Like most all toy guitars are made. :P
Well, considering the guitar has Twilight's colors, maybe MysteryBen27 will have her trying to play it in his next Rhythm is Magic video... it can't end worse than with the trumpet, no?

ReplyDeleteIch hab das Ding (pünktlich zum deutschen Serienstart, hängt sicher damit zusammen) in meinem Netto gesehen! Außerdem noch in einem Zeitschriftenladen. So selten sind die also mittlerweile gar nicht mehr. Guck bei Prinzessin Lillifee und halt die Augen offen.
Ich kauf mir das Magazin irgendwann mal, aber erst, wenn Sticker oder ein krasses Poster drin sind.

1. That's not even an actual guitar. Six strings Hasbro, not four.
2. I don't mind if you continue the kid toys, but how about jumping on the idea that, maybe, just maybe, the older generations might be interested in REAL ponified instruments, videogames, and/or even a family oriented card and/or board game. =D
