    2. Awww, poor Luna.

That's Amalthea from The Last Unicorn, right?

    3. If Luna, once she appears again, turns out to be immensely popular & well-liked in Canterlot...I dunno *what* the fanbase will do.

Better pray she's actually a loner.

    4. Enter Celestia, stage right.

"Gasp! Oh wondrous rare winged unicorn! Do you, too, know what it is to live in loneliness?"
      "Sis?"
"Indeed! I have ridden the length and breadth of the land in search of gorgeous horse creatures who will join me in my court at Canterlot."
      "Sis?"
"At last my solitude is ended!"
      "Sis?"
"Luna, dear, go play your PSP. Let us ride... to Canterlot!"
      "...It's only a model..."

    6. Everyone applaudes Luna? Taking a page from Fantastic Four and other places: pull the POV back in the next panel to show the armed guards with leveled tommy guns making sure that everyone is clapping.

    8. Wow, is Luna just the reincarnation of Patsy from The Holy Grail? Or, more appropriately, Spammalot.

Watch this, and find new comedy in the sadness of Luna!

    9. I'd probably find this funny except a really somber radiohead song started playing right as I saw Luna's sad face.

      Feel's bad man. ;_;

    10. @Anonymous

I have also written the beginning of a Last unicorn crossover, but with all the problems comming up once Amalthea hits the scene.
No clouds, no winter, the world around her turns to paradise, and it's either good or bad for pony economy.

Oh, and I wanted Dash to have a crush on her. The kind of dawww schoolgirl crush.

    11. Almathea is also immortal. I don't think there are any immortal unicorns and I specifically excluding the winged-unicorns/alicorns like Luna and Celestia. Almathea would have be considered a separate species from ponies. A unicorn horse as opposed to a unicorn pony like Rarity and Twilight Sparkle, perhaps.

A horse?! The last unicorn is no HORSE!

Twilight would be a unicorn pony, and possibly Celestia & Nightmare Luna would be alicorn horses, and Amalthea is just a unicorn, total other species (cloven hooves, tufted tail, different, almost deer-like body structure.) She probably would have a hard time breeding with any of Equestria's citizens, due to her lack of poniness.

I need to get off the computer now.

    17. WHY DO PEOPLE INSIST ON LUNA HAVING A LIFE FULL OF SUCK?

    18. The Last Unicorn is one of the giants of fantasy literature, the American counterpart to The Hobbit. I have a copy of it signed by its author. Envy me!
