Thanks mate! I sure hope that every chapter is attention grabbing and action packed. Unfortunately I know that that isn't always the case. With this sort of fic you need to be careful when balancing world building, character development and action. So a little bit of everything for everypony.

It's still in rough draft stages. But for sure, once i get it typed up, SALT is the first place im posting it. I love to get your feedback, work out all the kinks, then see where it goes from there. :D

Dieselpunk is a slightly more advanced version of Steampunk. They both have the same origin and they share quit ea few similarities. The main difference is that dieselpunk has a penchant for the arcane and that Steampunk tends to be crisp and clean contrary diesel' grim and dirty.

To add to RavensDagger's explination, Steampunk is modeled after the Victorian Era (19th Century) the design uses lots of wood, brass, glass, Orante designs and the like. Dieselpunk is modeled from the 1920s-Early 1950s. (20th Century) It relies heavily on Steel, Glass, Art Deco/Postmodern design, and has more advanced technology (I.E: Internal Combustion Engines, Basic electronics, Radar, etc)

Huzzah, it updated! I do have one question about Zap Apple Fuel though, is it a very high octane Avgas (aviation gasoline), or is it the pony equivalant of Jet Fuel?

I`ll answer this, no real spoilers here.
Zap apple fuel is two things in this fic.
First it is a really powerful fuel. Think of it as high octane or Nitrusoxide (I know I misspelt that...).
It is also a fuel that isn`t regulated by the government. Hence it is illegal to posses. Also, because production is so... odd. The amounts made are very small. Making the fuel exotic and valuable.

and since its the Pony Equivalent of Nitrous Oxide, (That's how you spell it BTW, I'm actually an Auto Tech in Training) does it have that same quality where if you use too much, you end up spraying engine parts all across Equestria?

thanks so much, i hope to after finishing my first chapter of a fallout eqd story to try my hand at steam/diesal punk, sort of working out some ideas for some stories i'm currently working to publish, just finished reading your fic's first chapter was really good, will be glad to see more! =D
