I'm happy for you blogger ponies... I suppose for us on the east coast New Pony Day will turn into an evening activity rather than morning XD
ReplyDeleteMan, this is kind of a bummer. I usual watch with my bro and he works the night before then stays up until 10 to watch, asking him to stay up until 1 is INSANE.
ReplyDeleteNOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOooooooo i almost always start work at 1pm on saturdays!!!!! I SHALL FIND A WAY TO EATHIER GET OUT OF WORK EACh WEEK OR SET TIMES TO LATER IN THE DAY> I SHALL HAVE MY PONIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteIf this is for us, they WHY WHY WHY did they move Strawberry Shortcake too? I'd hoped we could escape those mediocre adventures.
ReplyDeleteHold up.
ReplyDeleteIn Australia... Does this mean...
9AM Sunday?!
Holy crap!
WHYYYYYYYY D:
ReplyDeleteAround 10:00 or 11:00 central time I think?
ReplyDeleteThis worries me, ratings will almost certainly go down at that slot which hurts the chances of more seasons.
ReplyDeleteUmm... Okay? March 3rd, right? Geez, that's so late compared to when I usually wake up, but maybe now I can sleep in without worrying about missing it...
ReplyDeleteGreat now I won't be able to catch them, what with work and all.
ReplyDelete... Now it's on at 5 in the morning in australia
ReplyDeleteI liked it at 1 in the morning, it meant I could have drunken skype conversations with other bronies while the show was on
Sounds weird, but I actually hoping they wouldn't do this yet, as I enjoyed getting up before anyone else to watch pony. Plus, it meant that I didn't have to wake up and go crazy just waiting for a new episode later in the day - I could just wake up and watch. Still, obviously the closer it moves to prime time, the better...I suppose. :P Plus, all you non-morning ponies can get some sleep!
ReplyDelete2am here in Western Australia, but I think it's doable :)
ReplyDeleteIn Malaysia, by the time the new episodes airs, it is 2:00 AM on Sunday. Looks like I have to wait until very early in the Sunday morning for the new episodes.
ReplyDelete5am... fucking good work there, Hub.
ReplyDeleteThis means new episodes air at noon for me. I'm happy about this; 9:00 AM was a little early to be getting up on Saturdays for me (most weekdays, my classes start around 8:30).
ReplyDeleteI don't care if it's at 2am on Sunday for me in SG. I'm still going to stay up and watch.
ReplyDeleteTHIS IS HORRIBLE!!! What about all us hard working Bronies who have to be at work by that time. :*(
ReplyDeleteNot to mention that means even to those not working, having to wait ALOT longer to see the episodes on Saturdays..
I don't understand this Decision... Part of Saturday Morning Cartoons (at least when I was a child) was having to wake up early..
It was a special time in my childhood life. Waking up at the crack of dawn, sitting down and eating cereal to my favorite cartoons every Saturday. IT WAS THE BEST....
There is nothing really worth getting up early for anymore like In the early 90's.. Except MLP that is...
Kids have it to easy these days. They are missing out on the joys of starting their lazy Saturdays off early...
And you know what.. When I was a child, I didn't complain about shows being to early. No!!! It would be MY FAULT if I missed a show..
Seeing the good shows early in the morning was like an award for getting up early enough...
I don't see how 9 a.m. is too early anyways to watch MLP (at least in my time zone)
This news just makes me sigh and shake my head.
Not sure how I feel about having to leave for work the second Pony ends each Saturday. But it does mean I won't have to wake up, watch the episode, then crash again for a paltry two and a half hours.
ReplyDelete@Z.wester
ReplyDeleteEastern Standard is -5 GMT.
No.
ReplyDeleteNO!
NONONONONNNNNNNO
Dammit, that's EXACTLY what time I'm due in at my job! I used to worry that having to work at 10am would make me miss it, but with this, I won't be able to see it live at all!
And seeing how MLP:FiM and WWE shows are about all I can be arsed to watch, what's the point of even paying for cable anymore?
Dick move, Hub. Dick move.
@MagnaDrake
ReplyDeleteThree hours up.
@Zexoguy
ReplyDeleteConsidering I go to sleep at 5 AM I'd say you're dead wrong.
no problem there.. just moves my ponytime to lunchtime, and get better parking in midmorning/early afternoon, to watch ponies.
ReplyDeleteYeah, I'll be one of the unlucky bronies. My shift usually starts anywhere from 12 to 2 so I was always happy to wake up early for ponies. I hope they at least still re-air episode Sundays 8AM.
ReplyDeleteNow that I'm going to be watching it on the TV in the living room live instead of streaming it slowly on my iPod, I had better let my dad k ow I'm a bronie before he has a bloody aneurism from the shock.
ReplyDeleteThis means I'll only have to wait an hour when I get home to watch ponies!
ReplyDeleteMy DVR will get miserably lonely though
Awh, I loved watching ponies in the morning. Darn you, hub! :(
ReplyDelete:<
ReplyDeleteAwwww...
My Saturday mornings...
My ability to catch Livestreams...
All gone.
Gone forever... D:
Or at least until the timeslot changes...
Like many, my work tends to call me in right around 1 on Saturdays. :C Most saddening.
It kinda sucks cause I could always watch the new episode in the morning before I left for work.
ReplyDeleteIt kinda sucks cause I could always watch the new episode in the morning before I left for work.
ReplyDeleteGahhh, it was FINE WHERE IT WAS!!!
ReplyDelete....hmmmm...
ReplyDeleteI was really used to wake up in the morning, watch new episode, discuss for a few hours over (noon)Dinner... and then do other stuff...
Damned.
@AL
ReplyDelete*WE* had those 'exiting 10am mornings' before.
West VS East ! COASTAL WAR !
...on another note, with your head in the oven and your feet in the freezer, the middle is perfect... in theory.
Oh jeez...for us Australians, this is THE. WORST. POSSIBLE. THING!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, that's 5AM here (Canberra/Sydney time). I may be partially nocturnal, but damn it Luna, you're taking it too far!
YES. 11 am here (Arizona, just like Seth). Now I can get some sleep!! :D
ReplyDeleteActually the few times I've watched it live I've had to stay up overnight, that will no longer be feasible. Maybe they could, I dunno, start putting up the iTunes link as it airs so at least I can get it before the next freaking day? :/
ReplyDelete10 AM... Yay! And Hawaiian bronies get it at 8, which is still better than 5!
ReplyDeleteNooooo! Oh wait.. not so bad.. I woke up early to watch it with my daughter every saturday, the new time works out better 90% of the time, but the first time I have to go to work early, I'm going to miss it live and have to catch the DVR later.
ReplyDeleteWhat a WONDERFUL birthday present I'll be getting :/
ReplyDeleteAt least there's still one more week of livestream'd pony for me...
Buck this s**t!!! I gotta be at work at noon!
ReplyDeleteI guarantee you that the 12:30 Strawberry Shortcake episode is the talent show one.
ReplyDeleteYea... This is bad news for those of us who work third shift. It's bad enough being at WORK when the new show airs... But try knowing you have to be ASLEEP when the new show airs...
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'll be depriving myself of sleep... Though this also gives me an idea...
@Zexoguy: for the record, you're a troll.
ReplyDeleteWait wait wait, the Aquabats have a show? Oh my awesome right in the childhood! Now all I can think about is Aquabats as ponies. TO DEVIANTART!!!!
ReplyDelete1 AM *Sighs*
ReplyDeleteSorry, but AAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWW YYYYYYEEEEAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! Now I can watch the livestream every week, not just every second week!
ReplyDelete@dos
ReplyDeleteProbably just an Amish farmer who wakes up at 3AM every days of the years.
I liked the 7 am showing because I could wake up at 8:30 and watch it from my DVR before I turned to Toonzai and some epic Yugioh and DBZ showing. Now that it'll be 10 it'll conflict with DBZ! Noo!! Oh well, that's why I record in HD, so I can watch it when I want, in glorious 55 inch HDTV! Huzzah for ponies! You US bronies should get a DVR!
ReplyDeleteAm i the only one that is actually disappointed in this?
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed feeling like a kid again by having to get up early to watch some new episodes on Saturdays. Now i cant do that and have that feeling. Sure i like the sleep but it kind of isnt the same feeling considering my day would start at noon after the entire morning of watching nonstop replays of the episode.
@Apoljak Hell yea man!! Im right there with ya!
ReplyDeleteI predict this will result in an increase in Australian fans using Bittorrent because they don't want to get up at 5 AM.
ReplyDeleteoh great, this still happens to coincide with my work schedule
ReplyDeleteAwwww, but the new episode is the only reason I wake up early on Saturday!
ReplyDeleteits so odd... i looked up the new fluttershy ep on my t.v. line up and it says 10 am, i hvae no idea why but ill just go to i live stream for it still
ReplyDeleteUgh, that's 9PM in the UK, that's going to be horrible for my fianceé who works at that time.
