You're also right about everyone's opinion. You should have seen all the shit being talked about this place on Ponibooru, KYM, and I'm sure other places as well.
I also stated (and totally believe) it's none of the mods or bloggers fault. They provide good news and work hard. I have nothing against them at all. But, if they don't stop coddling an environment that keeps attracting such prudes I can almost guarantee that this place will become pony hell.

Nobody in the Fairly odd parents fandom freaked out, just the brony E-saints.
So now we as a whole look like a bunch of defensive, uptight, humorless bitches how harass our own VA's to try and protect a public image that does not exist.
Hell yeah I'm gonna hold the E-saints responsible, if they just grew a sense of humor we could have all laughed about it and moved on like normal adults, but no we have to be special with our own special considerations.
Thanks Dax. I know it seems like I'm trolling but I just really love Tara Strong. She's voiced so many of my favorite characters for so long and she always seems to be fun and have a great sense of humor on her twitter and when I see her on the internet. She's just... well completely awesome!

ReplyDeleteI hate moralfags too (and by moralfags, I don't mean all people who adhere to morals - only those who make a public nuisance of themselves by trying to enforce their morals on others and attacking content/people that doesn't fit into their narrow world-view), but I don't really see how EquestriaDaily is "coddling" to them.
If they were, they wouldn't be posting so many saucy images in the drawfriends.
Just because it isn't overflowing with porn and clopfics, doesn't mean they "coddle" to moralfags.
Equestria Daily is probably a gateway into bronydom for many people, and as such it makes sense to keep it clean, so as not to scare them away. For those who weren't already into hentai/rule34, the "darker" aspects of the fandom might take some time to get used to.
Wouldn't Foal Caliber be a better title for #34?
