• A Look into Derpy From Kreoss

    Source: Pixelkitties
Kreoss over on Deviant art (an FiM Animator from Topdraw) dropped a bit of information on the Derpy change tonight.  Apparently we wont be seeing a complete axing of the derp eyes in future episodes.

    Quote:
On the issue on Derpy whether she'll have the same Derp face expression and stuff. As an animator of the show, rest assured, she'll be fine.
He also goes into detail about not pointing fingers and blaming people about this (Something you should all probably listen to!).

Check out his entire message on the Deviant Art page here, or after the break!

There is also an initiative going on for here, find that here

It seems there has been alot of buzz about Derpy being "fixed". I saw the New version of Derpy in "The Last Round-Up" and I do admit it didn't settle well with me. I still enjoyed the original. I didn't like the reason why they had her change. It didn't seem at all offensive in my opinion. When I first saw the scene in the animatic, I literally burst with joy. But I had a feeling that it might not settle with some fans and some people. Especially since people already have their own version of Derpy and people might get the wrong idea of her character.

Its not often that cartoons show fan content. Cause sometimes when you include Fan content, it usually can result to something negative (to fans or to others). And sometimes it also endangers the identity/essence of the show. Or if people like it, they will probably expect a lot more.To the point they might expect TOO much. So you could imagine my surprise when they decided to name Derpy and give her a voice.

Derpy has became more than just some fancy Easter egg in the show. She's became an Icon, a symbol to the fans of MLP:FIM. Though Derpy was created in a studio, her character was created by the fans.  You can probably say that she represents all Bronies everywhere. Fans have enjoyed Derpy whenever they see her in the background until the point when she talked. The entire studio loves her as well. I was there in one of those Livestream chatrooms when people first heard her talk. It was quite entertaining how happy people were. So its no surprise to see people get really upset by this.

In a way, I understand why majority of fans are upset but blaming, pointing fingers and throwing hate around is not the way to do this. You're forgetting your own motto "Love and Tolerance". You bronies are one of inspiration and our greatest achievement. Don't sully your name by spreading Hate and intolerance. Remember, Tolerance is not the same as acceptance. If you are upset with something, display it in a more positive way. You'll get your message across much better than lashing it out with hate. Show some respect. Show some humility.

Oh I also want to address on a artist name Yamino. I've heard that she has been garnered a lot of hate by the Brony Community due to her not liking Derpy's portrayal. Let it be known, that she had NOTHING to do with the sudden change. She expressed an opinion on Derpy. That is all. She did not ask me to do this or anyone on the staff. I had to say this because the hate she's been receiving is unnecessary. So leave her be.

Also don't spam notes and messages to the people who work on the show. You're probably not going to get much out of it.

On the issue on Derpy whether she'll have the same Derp face expression and stuff. As an animator of the show, rest assured, she'll be fine. The show will still go on and I hope you will continue to support the show. Though Derpy is a great character, she is not essentially the reason why the show is awesome (though she is one of the Reasons). If Derpy never existed on that fateful scene in the first episode, would MLP be a bad show? Remember MLP is a great show because for what it is. I didn't know about Derpy until someone from the Studio pointed it out. I hope you'll still enjoy the show no matter what happens.

I hope this message will ease some of your minds. Thank you.

    2. Dodged the bullet there. Still ain't thinking she'd get another speaking role.

      ReplyDelete
    3. Well it's good to know it won't affect future episodes. I just finished reading that other post. Why do I always miss such crucial news?!

      ReplyDelete
    4. 100% Agree this guy tell what we should always do but as humans that we are we rage but thats normla but as bronies we understand and love and tolerate thats why i love this fandom :)

    5. "Fuck the lot of you.

You know why? because people bitched "DURR HURR SHE SOUNDS RETARDED."

And you bitched, and you bitched, and you bitched.

This is the end result of your bitching.

Goddamit, do you remember the lesson of "Suited for Success?"

DON'T LOOK A GIFT HORSE IN THE MOUTH.

And you fuckers did. So, you deserve it."

Oh, FYI. I'm being sarcastic, and mean to the people who are being too fucking serious about this shit.

It's a cartoon pony, and frankly, Hasbro has been good to us. And yet the majority of you are throwing a hissy fit.

    6. In a time of turmoil, it's cool to see that someone with the right info can put as at ease. It's scary how when we get flustered, we so easily forget to love and tolerate, myself included.

      ReplyDelete
    7. thanks. though I'm afraid the outrage inertia has set in. people are probably gonna continue to be pissed over this no matter what they are informed at this point.

      ReplyDelete
    8. Glad to see you've put this up Seth. Now if only people would just stop, take a deep breath, and just calm down.

      ReplyDelete
    9. Well this certainly settled arguments and debates, finally some solid information.

      ReplyDelete
    10. All of my respect goes out to him in regards to this, all of it.

    11. thanks seth, hope trixie realizes what a sport you are

    12. Thank you. We all need to take this message to heart. Stop the hate.

      ReplyDelete
    13. Just read it. Helped me to calm down. Even though I am still a tad upset that they changed our beloved Derpy, we as bronies should be above this "hateful and spiteful" mentality. Hasbro has been nothing but kind to us and we should not forget that fact so easily.

      ReplyDelete
    14. Hmm, he's got a good point there. so i'll rephrase my comment from the last post: I want to hit however changed derpy in the face with a fist-full of love and tolerance

      ReplyDelete
    15. Thank you for posting this, Seth.

All right, everyone. As the old saying goes, Keep Calm and Brony On!

      ReplyDelete
    16. If only this post somehow changed all the hate mail, death threats, and comment spam on some unnamed Deviant Art pages and Tumblrs. As if those individuals are on the board of directors for Hasbro or something.

This fandom can sink really, really low.

      ReplyDelete
    17. Someones spaming Kreoos post and threatining to bomb Hasbro, I don't know if Deviant art has mods...but someone needs to report that guy.

Also, time to rise up and show your LOVE, TOLERANCE & SUPPORT people!

      ReplyDelete
    18. I want to be positive about this...and then the header image is crying Derpy, and I am sad.

      ReplyDelete
    19. This still leaves us the omnipresent question of 'why', but only time is going to tell on that, I suppose.

Good night, hopefully the morning brings some closure.

      ReplyDelete
    20. I hope every bronies keeps the love and tolerance. The change is upsetting and disappointing, but blaming others (if blaming has been happening) isn't going to change anything. When finding out who changed Derpy, whether Hasbro or Apple, we all should peaceably ask for restoring Derpy. With me, the voice change is fine, as long as her name is said again, things will be ok.

      ReplyDelete
    21. I have to admit i wasn't keen on Derpy so i'm glad tey've "fixed" her

      Good job, everypony!

    24. THANK YOU, I mean seriously all this hate was bound to get the brony community no where and I honestly feared pushing the button on the hate would severely hurt the Brony community.. maybe now people will cool their lids and listen to reason.

      ReplyDelete
    25. Good, now I don't need to send an essay on the evils of censorship to Hasboro, lol

      ReplyDelete
    26. Don't worry Kreoos; just give us a day or so to get the initial frustration of the change, and the suddenness of it, out of out systems. Time heals all wounds (and the new episode in less than twelve hours will help too).

And yes, hearing someone on the show step forward and share with us what they can does ease my mind; thank you very much for that. My only real fear is that the people who were behind this change (do we know for 100% who was behind it?) will go on and make further revisions to the show, such as going back and fixing her previous wall eyed appearances in the premier and in Feeling Pinkie Keen among others.

      Thank you again Kreoos!

Well this was a "Can of worms". That's all I can truly say.

Breath deep, seek peace. Let the soul rest, where the spirit burns brightly like a lit candle at night creating it's own star as seen from the sky.

      ReplyDelete
    28. He does have a point. MLP is awesome, with or without Derpy.

Whether Derpy is changed or not, people aren't going to stop watching the show.

If only people on the internet would get off forums and such, and go google "manners", and theretofore bookmark some page realted to said google search.

Abiding by manners. You would think it would be easier with the world's largest repository for information, and some of the most complex information search mechanisms available.

      ReplyDelete
    29. Fingers and hooves will be pointed because we were LIED to.

That is the issue. We were told nothing would be changed and then everything was.

I mean...sure, an animator saying "We'll continue the derp-eyes" is one thing, but a removal of the name after we were told nothing would be changed?

I'm sorry Kreoss, but an appeal for sanity and civility at this point is like trying to stop a tsunami with a fishnet.

      ReplyDelete
    30. Hopefully this will end the flame wars on the bronies. You guys need to understand you're own motto, you're fighting you're selfs in some situation simply cause someone what's to share there idea on a situation. Then you get angered and untolerate them. In that situation, no one wins. Ever.

      ReplyDelete
    31. Yay Seth! ^_^ I'm just glad this got posted up..maybe now someponies who were flying off the handle will read this and calm down..

      ReplyDelete
    32. This is only a small comfort. I hope this is all Apple's doing. It's so much easier to dislike them.

      ReplyDelete
    33. WHAT EVER WHAT THE EXCUSE WAS. THE COMMUNITY FEELS HURT THAT DERPY HOOVES, A BELOVED FAN-BASED CHARACTER HAS BEEN REMOVED.

I WILL NOT FEEL AT PEACE UNTIL i GET A THOROUGH EXPLANATION AS TO WHY THEY DID THIS, WHO DID THIS, AND WHAT WILL THE PERSON GAIN FROM HURTING AN ENORMOUS COMMUNITY.

      ReplyDelete
    34. Some of you don't realize how some bronies can go into a panic attack. Think about the circumstances of the show. Its not going to last forever. Also, Derpy was very special to a lot of us. Its jus...I'm too tired at the moment to post more.

But I do wonder, I get the voice change, but why take the name out? Because its still Derpy, if you were going to get rid of evidence of fan service entirely I would have just silenced her. So...why?

      ReplyDelete
    35. I agree with him.
The only thing that really pisses me off a bit is the lack of information and the surprise change. I know they don't need to tell us anything, but if they were kind enough to put Derpy in the show, and if they are kind enough to show us some support from time to time, it would have been kind of them to just say "Sorry guys, but we are required to change this. Please don't take it personally, abd we're mantaining Derpy in the show". Just a message like that, weeks ago, would have attenuated the shitstorm a lot.

      ReplyDelete
    36. I AM ASHAMED OF THE ANGER I THREW AROUND.
      I will repent.

      ReplyDelete
    37. *grumbles* I still don't like the "fix"...my fingers is pointing in the direction of apple, there are to many coincidences.

      ReplyDelete
    38. My only concern is whether or not this was Apple or Hasbro's doing, that's my deciding factor for all this.

      ReplyDelete
    39. Well since she keeps the goofball eyes I'm happy. It's what sets her apart from the others. Even before I figured out she was a nod to the fans I liked 'that recurring silly looking BG pony'

      ReplyDelete
    40. People love FIM because it's different. It even dared to bring a fan character into the show, a walking disaster a la characters from classic 90s cartoons such as Ed, Edd n' Eddy. Mentally disabled? Nah. Clumsy, awkward, hilarious? Yes sir.

If Hasbro had one more scene with the true Derpy, that'd be one giant middle finger to pop culture standards, and would shout "Yeah. We just did that. We're different. Don't like it? Tough luck."

      ReplyDelete
    41. @Laurence Brown New episode march 3 :/

Anyway thanks to kreoss for posting that and seth for posting it here
im sure that everything its going to be fine and that we can show why the call us bronies LOVE AND TOLERATE indeed :)

    42. @Marshall

      Yay new header image!

Still upset about the change, but life goes on.

      ReplyDelete
    43. well guess we got carried away on this.

but like kreos said, tolerance is not the same as acceptance and hating won't get us any further.

so i guess we better calm down stop pointing fingers, get a suport derpy badge to post everywhere, and just don't buy the edited episode on Itunes, so we can let them know we don't like what they did there.

      ReplyDelete
    44. Thank you, Seth, for posting this, and thank you, Kreoss, for your message. I think it was something that we all needed to hear.

I was very surprised and disappointed at all of the messages of hatred when the Derpy issue was being thrown around. I think all of us need to step back, remember the message of the show (love and friendship rather than hate), and realize that, Derpy or not, the show is still amazing. It's come so far in such a short time, and many of our lives have been changed for the better because of it. Don't ever forget that.

No matter what happens, I want to thank all those at Hasbro, Studio B, Top Draw, etc. who have worked on the show and made it as great as it is. Thank you so much for all that you do and keep up the good work :)

      ReplyDelete
    45. Let the damage control teams do their work.

Stay cool and let the situation defuse. Everything will be rectified in do time.

I know cooler heads will prevail, this fandom needs to show it can handle this.

More the principle of it than the Derpy herself. That the extremely easily offended and trolls were able to scare everyone out of having a dopey character. Just try to name one other kids cartoon that didnt have a dopey character.

      ReplyDelete
    49. i...i feel better now. thanks kreoss

      ReplyDelete
    50. I'm sorry, but finger-pointing will just have to continue. Not me personally doing it, but there's good reason.

As Quartz Poker stated above me, we were essentially LIED to. We were told nothing was going to change. SO MANY TIMES, we were told nothing would change.

      Then this happens.

I hate to keep sticking to this, but it's just like Hasbro giving us a lollipop, taking it away, giving it back, and then kicking us in the ass and telling us to scram. Derpy is, what I believe, the emobodiment of the Brony fandom. If Hasbro deems it necessary to remove it, then I suppose they don't seem to care what we think. They don't care, I suppose I won't...

      ReplyDelete
    51. You Sir thank you just thank you, sometimes I think that things get out of hand and honestly was starting to get depressed that I was seeing a whole different community then the one I joined but I saw a light its people like you that are that light. I just wish that all of us have learned a lesson here. Love and Tolerate my bronies.

      ReplyDelete
    52. Thank goodness this was posted or else people wouldn't sleep right!

If in the future they do make seasons out for dvd and blu-ray, I just hope they put the original episode :3

I feel much better that they won't completely change her in future episodes!

      ReplyDelete
    53. Ok...im calm now.just a change
the new scene doesnt exist. Its an illusion derpy is still canon

      ReplyDelete
    54. Well hopefully that will calm the majority of the angry bronies out there leaving hate mail and messages on Deviant pages and Tumblrs.

Yeah, I'm upset that they removed her name and "underped" her eyes, it felt like a slap in the face. I have no problems with the voice though, it's perfectly okay in my opinion.

I just hope the angry bronies who went and took their rage out on the others didn't cause too much damage.

      ReplyDelete
    55. The last time I felt like this was when Lauren left the show..
The world didn't explode that day.
Hopefully it won't explode this time.

      I can sleep now.

      ReplyDelete
    56. Sorry, I'm more of a Trust and Understanding kind of guy. Love and Tolerance has too often results with closed-mindedness and condescension.

I'm betting people came after Yamino, wielding Love and Tolerance like a club and screaming "You're not loving nor tolerant!"

      ReplyDelete
    57. This is just what we needed. Thank you. Thank you so much. Hopefully everyone will start remembering our motto instead of preaching but not practicing. On the subject of the revision: It doesn't upset me or anything, I simply just would like the original up for download for those of us who would like it. or a way of getting it individually via legal means as a way of supporting the show. I am a fan and this whole thing, while tumultuous, isn't bringing down my faith. I hope that they'll forgive our...less than calm, counterparts and still give us little things in the manner they have been.

      Love and Tolerate,

      ReplyDelete
    58. Ok, thank you, Seth. Now, can we all just please walk away from the internet for the night? Please?

      ReplyDelete
    59. Wait a minute...I just realized something...Why do we say that we get love and tolerance from the show? They never solve there problems through love and tolerance!

      ReplyDelete
    60. Yes, please everyone calm down and think with a level head! I hate seeing such an awesome group so torn up.
(I'm also still shaken from seeing posts here way too similar to what I see in the disgruntled and broken MapleStory community.)

      ReplyDelete
    61. As much as I can really respect a lot of where this is coming from, I also see a lot of it giving an underlying message of "Don't fight the censorship though, even though you're upset by it and the censorship here is wrong and i didn't like it either, you'll only do harm by trying to change the status quo"

Which to me, seems to boil down to "You can't win in these things so please don't try."

To me, there's a distinct difference between "Love and Tolerate" and "Just sit back and do and say nothing while bad things happen, because you can't do anything about it."

I dunno, it just feels less like a call for common sense and normalcy and more of a defeatist "you wouldn't win anyway" sentiment. Which, in the end, kind of makes me more sad than before.

      ReplyDelete

I'd be absolutely fine if they released 2 versions of episodes they decide to butcher; the normal episode for us bronies and the politically correct version for butthurt wannabe fans and people who ruin the fun for the real fans.

      ReplyDelete
    66. I was mostly concerned that they were going to axe her. I can live with the last roundup change.

Still not happy that they caved into to the complaining minority, but that's an issue for a different day.

I really think Hasbro needs to allow their staff to speak more. If they did, we could avoid situations like this. I can't remember who said it, but on the other thread, someone said that "silence is what spawns conspiracy theories".

I wholeheartedly agree. As much rage as there was flying around on that last thread, I'm very happy to see people claiming down and admitting that they overreacted. Myself included (although I still stand firm on my position).

I really do love you guys.

      ReplyDelete
    67. He doesn't really address the reason for the change and as for Derpy's future, he's a low-level animator who really has no say, so I'm still discouraged.

      ReplyDelete
    68. Thank you for that, extremely informative and comforting too. I was one of the one's that placed hate in the last post relating to derpy, and I do feel guilty now. I totally forgot "Love and Tolerance", and the rage that consumed me due to

      ReplyDelete
    71. Yeah, don't care, I still think the whole situation is stupid and she should be left as she was.

      ReplyDelete
    72. I still believe that most of us are going to find reasonable ways to respond to this, so I'm not too worried about the fandom. I am saddened by this turn of events, and the best way to address that is with civility. Go to savederpy.com for a good outlet. You guys are great, and I really mean that.

      ReplyDelete
    73. It remains the case that someone at Hasbro - presumably not on the production team - made the call that disability should be invisible, not depicted, erased. Who made that call? And would they like to explain themselves?

Complaints coming via Apple may have been *a* trigger, but seriously, people seem to think apple actually did the re-edit? Yeah, and it was their idea to raise the prices on Whitney Houston hours after she died, and for that matter Steve Jobs died purely so the news coverage would annoy knee-jerk apple haters too. Apple isn't the story here.

Who decided disability couldn't be shown to children?

      ReplyDelete
    74. A majority of the people in this fandom are far too immature for things to go smoothly from now on, that's only to be expected. It's just like in the show: Things aren't ALWAYS happy go lucky, the characters meet DO meet adversity, but they learn to solve their problems. I wish people would, instead of flipping their damn lids at the smallest things, just calm down and rationally address the situation with intelligence instead of ignorance.

      ReplyDelete
    75. People are just having knee-jerk reaction right now. They'll get over it in a couple of days.

      ReplyDelete
    76. to people saying Hasbro lied to us, tell me where they ever said she would be completely unchanged.

no really, I am unsure if they said that or not and I would like a quote to know what they actually said.

    77. Glad Derpy is fine, but to hell with Yamino.

      ReplyDelete
    78. @Beta-Carotene

I'll admit my rage was unfathomable at first..but I took a few breaths..rewatched the scene..let it soak in..and realized that Derpy is still with us. In our hearts, in our souls. The wall-eyed grey pegasus who flies backwards will always be with us.

      ReplyDelete
    79. I was shocked when i saw the video i think we all (the bronies) were shocked by it because we all have derpy in our heart and now the chanced that and it hurt its true if we are going to point fingers we are on the same level as the peopele that hate us so lets just say we arent happy about it and now we have ben heard, i just hope they will take the comments with some sugar, we all Love Derpy how she was now that is chanced that makes us all sad

      ReplyDelete
    80. well, on that good news, i shall go to bed. i'll never stop watching this show because one background character was edited. (tho it make me sad) derpy will still be all over the web and shared through all bronies! peace out!!

      ReplyDelete
    81. Honestly my only "complaint" about all this, is that it makes them look weak.

Like, they don't want people to be understanding of someones disabilities. People like Derpy exist! I have worked with them, and currently my father in-law has become one. It's sad people are so intolerant to some things.

My only hope is that they can maintain the characters personality. I can see them getting more hate mail over this whole thing. People are angry that someone they cared for was changed, and I don't blame them honestly.

Just love and Tolerance my fellow Bronies! Love and Tolerance!!!

      ReplyDelete
    82. The whole mess was probably started by some easily offended whiner somewhere. Let us not be like the whiner and throw a fit over something so trivial. Yes, Derpy was a love letter to us, but if everyone screams and moans about it, we're only going to come off as bad as them.

"You bronies are one of inspiration and our greatest achievement."

That's quite a compliment and I would like to thank Kreoss on behalf of all bronies for it. Now, let's prove we're worthy of it. Let us all chill out together.

      ReplyDelete
    83. omit that first meet on my comment >.<

      ReplyDelete
    84. i would like to reiterate: "In a way, I understand why majority of fans are upset but blaming, pointing fingers and throwing hate around is not the way to do this. You're forgetting your own motto "Love and Tolerance". You bronies are one of inspiration and our greatest achievement. Don't sully your name by spreading Hate and intolerance."

this paragraph is huge. it seems that hasbro knows who we were than lots of us seem to these days. we seem to be devolving into a lesser internet community, one of hate. we used to be an outstanding community. we need to get back to that.

    85. @Anonymoose Your comment is a great example of what I mean. We all have our knee-jerk moments, but we'll remember ourselves before long. That's what I love about bronies.

      ReplyDelete
    86. I'm sorry but this isn't enough, while it's better than nothing. We need to know what was really going on when these changes were made.

My biggest issue with all of this is how Hasbro out of nowhere wanted to change derpy, then they backed off, putting everyone in a false sense of security that the storm had passed. Then they go and change it without giving us an actual reason.

That's what hurts me most about this.
Sure it's your show but you can at least tell your fans the reasoning behind it.

Everyone hates how lucas changed Han Solo from shooting first. But you know what at least Lucas explained himself as to why he made the change. Sure most still disagree, but at least he told the fanbase why.

      ReplyDelete
    87. I wonder if any of you will look back at your posts in the last Derpy post and realize how hypocritical, bratty, and entitled you all sounded. This show doesn't belong to us. If you have a problem, vote with your money. Don't have a temper-tantrum.

Personally, I'm glad she doesn't have the Downs Syndrome voice anymore, though they should've kept the name in imo.

      ReplyDelete
    88. Looks like a couple of us are pointing fingers again. But when you think about it, who can blame them. We have no info on what happen, and yes, we were lied two, they should have never brought the episode back on iTunes if this was the result...

      ReplyDelete
    89. I approve of this message completely, but... I still want more information.

      ReplyDelete
    90. I'm happy that he's given us some reassurance, but I'm still pretty bummed about them taking away her original voice and name. I for one thought that the voice fit her nature perfectly, and Rainbow calling Derpy by her real name just made the fanboy in me so happy.

The way they're handling things now, I almost feel like we would have been better off if they never made Derpy canon in the first place. It was amazing, but I've kind of lost some respect for Hasbro for giving us something so great then taking it away.

      Just my two cents.

      ReplyDelete
    91. As wonderful as this is, it still doesn't change the fact that something very, very terrible happened. It speaks to itself that such a letter was required in the first place. Someone, or a collective, cracked under the weight of the views of a minority and made a terrible creative decision in changing a character retro-actively. That is what is truly disappointing here. It's the principle just as much as the consequence that I am really upset about.

Regardless, I just pray that I see more of Derpy.

      ReplyDelete
    92. This is all I care about. Its not the voice of the person(or pony) that defines them, it is their personality and actions that define them. Her derpy eyes and paper bags defined her as a klutzy, silly, lovable pony. As long as this violation is restricted to the one episode, I feel much better. I actually like the new voice equally, considering she was voiced as a colt originally.
TL;DR I'm relieved, and Derpy will still be Derpy

      ReplyDelete
    93. "You bronies are one of inspiration and our greatest achievement."

That statement alone made me shed a few manly tears..now I can sleep peacefully. Goodnight everypony!

      ReplyDelete
    94. So, does this mean we are trying to get Derpy back in a love and tolerance manner? Or are we going to sit back?...I'm serious, what are we doing?

      ReplyDelete
    95. Her name isn't going away....she's still DERPY behind the scenes!

      ReplyDelete
    96. SO anychance of getting a new episode synopsis up soon so we can have somthing POSITIVE to talk about?

This derpy stuff is driving me batty!

      ReplyDelete
    97. This is gonna sound really sappy and cliched, but I'm gonna roll with it.

In the show, each of the main characters has managed to go pretty crazy at least once and succumb to unfortunate thoughts/vices/what have you. Sometimes it got pretty bad.

However, in one way or another they manage to pull themselves back from the brink and avoid damaging themselves and the ideals that they ultimately uphold.

I'd like to see this situation as a similar thing for part of the community: people are mad and anger's rising, fingers are being pointed and even hate is starting to boil. However, I'd also like to think that in the end, Bronies will indeed stick to their motto and find a way to cope with all of this. The message from Kreoss will hopefully be the catalyst for recovery. They'll find a way to pull themselves back from the brink.

I know that regardless of the changes in the episode, all of the art, the fiction, and the love for Derpy has not and will not change. I know it won't for me. There's no way you'll be able to visit a true MLP site without seeing that Derpy face we all know and love, and I'm sure it's gonna stay that way.

...Geez, that was mushy. But my point remains valid!

      ReplyDelete
    98. Now take a look: The people who are STILL insisting on complaining are going to be the ones who will never be satisfied and really just WANT something to whine about. Now you know who to ignore in the future, so we can avoid further hysteria.

      ReplyDelete
    99. @Rohit Eligeti Rule 34 is inevitable and can't be stopped. Your best bet is to set your search to strict when searching for ponies. But honestly, It EXISTS, therefore porn.

      ReplyDelete
    100. I'm still pretty confused, and frankly hurt over it. I get the same kind of feeling you'd get if you knew someone was going to give a speech, and specifically thank you for something, and then when they were up on stage, they just omitted the line while refusing to even look at you in the crowd. It's seems to me like they are consciously refusing to acknowledge it.

Honestly, the name is ALL that concerns me. I actually did feel that the original Derpy was overplayed. There's a difference between a klutz and someone that managed to destroy and entire building in seconds. Even her voice was too close to elementary school kids imitating down syndrome for me. That said though, The new voice is so far on the other side of the spectrum, it doesn't even sound like Derpy to me.

Removing her name doesn't change ANYTHING about the character or her actions, it merely serves as a middle finger to the fandom and a sign proclaiming "we will cave to any and all claims that we were unintentionally offensive."

      ReplyDelete
    101. Hahahaha......haha.......ha. See?! I knew everything was gonna be fine!

      ReplyDelete
    102. For those people hating on the people who are whining...think about this, some pony that was loved by many fans just technically got taken away from us with very little explanation and we felt like we were lied to by hasbro. Just because you are going to sit back and not complain doesn't make you better. Just let them complain, they need to let it all out.

Because there is nothing we can to stop this...Nothing...

      ReplyDelete
    103. @ Ashfire

It's inevitable that as a group grows larger, you're bound to attract large numbers of immature people. Similar to how a person ages, that just seems to be how a fanbase ages, and there's really nothing you can do to stop it.

That said, I do still see something from this community that I've never seen anywhere else: mutual respect.

I'm seeing that the a good chunk of the people who were raging are admitting that they overreacted. It's a big sign of, not necessarily mature people themselves, but a mature environment that rewards humility and owning up to your mistakes.

I've been a part of a lot of other communities before, and let me tell you, when you pissed someone off, you had an enemy, permanently. If you tried to apologize or offer forgiveness, about the nicest response you would get is "lulz fag go fuk urself".

That doesn't happen very often here, and individuals like that aren't normally welcome here. That's something that we can still say we have, and it's pretty unique.

      ReplyDelete
    104. "NO! NOOOOOOOO! WE OWN THIS SHOW! I WILL RANT AND RAVE AND SEND HATE MAIL AND THROW DEAD DOGS AT HASBRO UNTIL THEY SHUT DOWN PRODUCTION OF MLP ENTIRELY AND THEN...and then...uhhhhh?"

"Who decided disability couldn't be shown to children?"

      Nobody.

Understand: to Bronies, Derpy is a lovable goof.

But to non-Brony viewers, her scene in "Last Roundup" can look for all the world like a depiction of the mentally challenged as dangers to themselves and others that are to be held up to ridicule. Can you see why somepony might find that JUST a little uncomfortable?

Bronies are not the center of the universe. We are not even the center of Hasbro's universe. We need to get a grip.

      ReplyDelete
    105. P.S: About the defeatist sentiment I refered to in this message, before...

While I felt that this whole thing basically still says to me that Hasbro did this to say "We don't care what thousands of you think, we only care what 2 easily offended people think." I'm sorry but I just can't get on board with this message telling me to sit back and do nothing while a bad thing happens and please to not use my voice to express how much it sucks.

Because it clearly shows that Hasbro no longer respects us, and the fact that Derpy IS that metephorical bridge between the fandom and the company, tells me that Hasbro clearly lit the torch and lit up that bridge by removing the name Derpy, fixing the eyes, and removing literally everything about the character that connected her to us.

But what this message seems to be asking me is to sit back and please be quiet while Hasbro sits here and burns this bridge. That just rubs me the wrong way. I understand the attempt, but it still just strikes me as defeatist and to just accept when something is needlessly censored, and equates looking the other way when the fanbase is betrayed to "loving and tolerating."

It's a valid attempt at trying to restore some "order" but a defeatist "it would be no use, your voice isn't going to matter anyway, please focus on something else" isn't good enough for me.

Hasbro's act still sets a bad precedent for the media's responsibility with censorship, just as the South Park Mohammad controversy did, but on a scale that says "We can go after kids shows now just because one or two people whined about nothing."

Just telling me to please ignore the awful thing that happened, in the end, isn't a good enough reason for me to not be incensed and deeply upset over this, anymore.

But eh. If people really want to get behind this message and just pretend like Hasbro didn't just stick up the middle finger and rescind their previous connection to the fans like this, for the sake of blatantly censoring something to please 2 people over thousands that are still going to continue give them money regardless, well more power to them, I guess.

      But I can't.

I don't hate Hasbro/Apple/The FiM staff and crew, i just wanted more answers.

I still love the show, Derpy, and all the other Ponies. :)

    108. The change sucks, yes. But know what? The original version STILL EXISTS, and it is still mind-shatteringly awesome! The fact that it exists at all is a testament to how much the people working on the show love us. To be completely honest, this is so mild to what could've happened; we still have Derpy. So buck up, everypony! Keep calm and Brony on!

    114. Something that boggles my mind is that people that work at Hasbro are bronies themselves. They love the show, too. Needless to say that DHX also does!

...So why would they do that? Why would Hasbro do that? Who's to "blame" for this? I chose the word "blame" poorly for my dictionary powers are weak. I am not a good dictionary.

But my point still stands. Does everyone here still remember "Equestria Girls"? That was Hasbro themselves aknowledging us, and that they are a part of it too. They KNOW what's going on! I mean, really! They are people too, you know!

We love Hasbro. We love DHX. We love this show... I just don't know what went wrong. I wish I knew. I really wish I did. ...But I don't.

So I signed a petition. I said I love them. And I know that they listen. Because it's impossible not to, when millions of people talk to you.

    117. Basically the same things I've been saying/would have said. But some people are choosy on who they listen to. And now a lot of people will be hating on the people complaining about the change. So it seems the cycle will continue at any rate. lol I'm staying out of this one.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed by the changes. And I can assure you that I'll be trying to get some answers myself. I'm definitely not going to sit back and wait for everyone else to do the work. But like I've said, all I ask for is for people to calm down.

    122. The voice change is ok and understandable, but removing her name, fixing her eyes, and butchering the dialogue flow in the scenes is just way too much for me...

      ReplyDelete
    123. I just have to say it: All these people apologising for their behavior make me feel like I'm in Ponyville! X-D

Which is awsome! Weird, but awsome! :-)

Also, I think it would be good for my comment on the first article to be here as well. Sorry if this is spamming, it just seems approrpiate:

"A fan at Deviantart said that this change may be Apple's doing and not Hasbro's.

But, even if it was, in my opinion Hasbro did the fans a favor adding Derpy on the background after the first episode in the first place. Remember, Derpy was just an animation mistake. (Rather comically, you can call it an animation derp. XD) Hasbro did not have to continue including Derpy in the episodes after that, but they did because they saw how much we liked her. So, if you think about it, it would be quite rude for us fans to complain about anything the studio does with Derpy.

As I wrote at DA, remember "Suited for success"? Yes, sometimes we, the fans, are the mane cast and Hasbro is Rarity!

      Love and tolerate! ^^ "

      ReplyDelete
    124. I agree with the people above. Step back for a second and be grateful for what we do have. Then remember Derpy isn't truly gone, though I will be suprised if she ever gets another speaking part. Maybe its for the best, since no matter how good she sounded there's always going to be the "that's not my Derpy" group. So I say let the fans give her character and just make her an Easter egg again.

      ReplyDelete
    125. It's a shame this had to happen, especially since Derpy represented the brony community and ended up being completely sideswiped.

But Hasbro played it safe and had the episode changed to avoid potential lawsuits. Oh well.

It's not like the moment is permanently erased though. Thousands of us have the original version of the episode on our computers.

Plus yelling, bitching, moaning, and insulting people isn't going to get us anywhere. It's kind of funny how immature this community can be if things don't go exactly the way they want it too. Some of you guys really need to man up when it comes down to things like this.

      ReplyDelete
    126. Wait a second...What about the TV version? They wouldn't change that would they? Please tell me they won't...

Yeah, I'm getting that vibe too. I agree with calls for civility, but to me civility means airing you grievances in a calm and rational manner instead of incoherent screaming and threats. It's quite another thing to berate those who are upset for not being loving and tolerant enough and implying that they should be ashamed for daring to be unhappy at Hasbro which can do no wrong. It just reeks of the language of abusive relationships.

    129. Hasbro slapped it's fans in the face.

My emails from Apple claim that they received the takedown from Hasbro. Apple did not take the episode down for their own reasons, and they claim that the only reason the episode had been unavailable. was because Hasbro requested the removal. Apple would have deleted it from their servers at that point. Hasbro resubmitted the episode WITH THE CENSORSHIP and EDITS, and that is what iTunes put up.

      Hasbro did this.

Hasbro ordered DHX/Studio B to re-record the lines. We all know the quality of this show. You have to do audio first, so you can then match the lip syncing up afterwards. Since the video was complete, audio can't perfectly match... and now the scene looks like a crappy YTP.

Hasbro did this, and no one else. DHX/Studio B is sadly drug along like a cowboy drug involuntarily by a rope behind his pony... err... horse. The voice would be OK, if the scene were properly lipsynced to it... but there's a reason sound is recorded before animation... The scene looks and sounds completely off due to the rushed edit.

I would really like to walk up to the CEO of Hasbro and slap his or her face right now...

Cause that's what Hasbro did to us fans.

We love the guys at DHX/Studio B for all the hard work they've put into the show... And we know Hasbro puts things on their plate from time to time. They might not want to swallow it, but they do it anyway, and put their special brand of awesome sauce on it to make it palatable. Quite frankly DHX/Studio B have been TOP NOTCH AWESOME, and have given this show an amazing gift, the gift of universal awesomeness!

That said... when the head honchos do horse manure like this... There is SIMPLY NO WAY to not be offended by it. I'm sad. I'm MAD even!

I feel betrayed by Hasbro. I won't turn my back on the series though... Hasbro still needs support if they are to fund more seasons of this show. I'd rather let the douchebag's running Hasbro get paid and deal with a little retardedness to get more of the gem that is My little Pony, than to kick the bastard's in the money sacks and get nothing in return.

I don't think anyone seriously thinks the people who actually make the show wanted to do this. It was their shout-out to us, and no hate from this whole affair ought to go to them. None.

But... someone at a higher pay-grade has made a very bad call here.

      ReplyDelete
    136. I am not angry, just saddened. An episode that has aired, has aired, and it shouldn't be changed. Ever. It saddens me even more to know that we probably won't see her again as Derpy. You do know that you're kinda going ageinst what the people here are saying right? Besides, Hasbro had to because it's a kids show too, believe it or not. PLus the disc is still unchanged, and derpy is still derpy. I'm certain that this all will blow over.

But really, it's just a fan pony, you forget hasbro didn't have to make derpy cannon inthe first place. So yeah...please, calm down.

      ReplyDelete
    141. While I appreciate what Kreoss said, and it's a good reminder for all of us to stay calm, it still doesn't put me at ease.

All I feel right now is a sense of betrayal. I would probably be okay with the change if we had some early warning, but this was out of nowhere after Hasbro said Derpy was safe and it was uncalled for. All I would like is some explanations. Who ordered the change? Why was it changed? Why was it changed in that way? Could there have been a way to change it without butchering that entire sequence (Admit it. It just doesn't flow the same.)?

Until some of those questions are answered I and a whole lot of others will not be satisfied. I'll continue to support the show and the parties involved with its production, but this whole fiasco has left a sour taste in my mouth and it'll be there for quite some time.

    146. I read Kreoss's journal entry and I heartily agree. In fact, I think bronies ought to look at this as an opportunity: it's one thing to toss around the catchphrase "love and tolerance," another thing entirely to put it into action. But it is only in putting it into action that any kind of good can come of it. I've enjoyed the brony community for it's unabashed and whole-hearted acceptance of what it love's and the message thereof- but if we love stories where people (or ponies) in conflict are able to resolve their differences peacefully, with friendship and understanding, grace and maurity, then how can any of us do otherwise in our real lives in this very real world? No one likes to see something they love tampered with- but in the case of Derpy's depiction in the show, we have to understand that the people responsible have their own needs and need to make their own judgments.

      ReplyDelete
    147. In my opinion I think it had to do with those over protective parents rather than us. I mean when Rd says "It's a mystery." in the edit, she doesnt sound as sarcastic as before. It is likely just that ONE scene. And despite my negativity and thinking the worse it seems possible that her background Derp eyes and word free close-ups will remain in tack. But we'll just have to wait and see.

Editing out 30 or so episodes that feature the mare seems pointless. I think kreoss actually means what he's saying.

If the studio had 100% creative freedom, I could see the show going years and years. If Hasbro starts meddling... I don't see passed a 4th season, if even 3. Fuck you Hasbro. Fuck you

    150. Yeah, I know exactly who point my fingers at - fckn whiners who wanted to be more saint than pope. To the moon with them!

    151. I really don't feel any betrayal or anything because of what happened because, even the show was made for more than just the target audience, it was also not just made for us. We don't even come close to the majority of the shows fanbase, and I find it hard to believe that hasbro owes us anything.

never forget, we're just along for the ride.

      ReplyDelete
    152. Also, why does any of this even matter anyway? It's not like she was going to ever get any more speaking lines anyway. I thought it was fairly obvious that this was a one time thing. With that being said, the fact that she'll remain in the background of upcoming episodes means that all of this drama is for nothing. Things are EXACTLY the same as they would be if none of this happened anyway so I don't understand why everybody's freaking out about this. It's not like it'll be impossible to obtain the original episode either. You can always find it on youtube, download it from some -other- source or even get the DVD which will apparently have the original episode on it (marketing scheme anybody?). So yeah, refer to my other post, lets just keep calm and move on with our lives.

    153. This is perhaps a prime example of why we need to live up to our motto of love and tolerance. If we'd done that in the first place, Derpy would still be the same.

      ReplyDelete
    154. @StrangeNoise
Absolutely. I'd rather put my feet on a stump grinder than to direct any sort of "blame" towards DHX. They have no reason to deserve any sort of hate. If anything, they need a pat on the back just as much as we do. This was just... Awful.

But someone, somewhere, actually pressed the "do it" button. ...Question is, who did it? The "why" is easy to guess, though... It hurts me to say it, but "denying that people with problems exist is way easier than to aknowledge them, right?" Even though Derpy clearly isn't one, but that isn't my point.

I watched the new version of it, and it just SOUNDS wrong. RD's voice sounds like she is self-aware that this is something horrible. I couldn't bear to watch without holding my forehead with both hands.

Sauce please? If true then I will be even happier than when Derpy spoke because I already dislike Apple so much.

Where did you hear that from? If you can verify it as a reliable source it would ease mine and a lot of other people's concerns.

    157. Your tears are delicious, bronies.

Seriously, every time I complain about all the crappy fanfic in this fandom (all of it, there are no good fanfics) I get the usual "if you don't like it, don't read it" response. So try practicing what you preach. Find some other thing to embarrass yourself online with, like Homestuck, and let Hasbro do whatever they want with the series they actually own.

      ReplyDelete
    158. Well it's pretty hard to "stay humane" and keep up the positive attitude with how much this upsets me, especially considering this shouldn't even be an issue at all.
Some people like it, and others don't, but you just don't change something after it's already been released. It's like giving a baby boy a lollipop, letting him lick it once, then taking it back and throwing it on the ground. Harsh? Yes. So is giving the fandom something it's longed for, then deciding you need to take it back thanks to some controversial opinions and a few trolls.
I'm trying my absolute best to love and tolerate, but it's getting harder and harder because this just drives me crazy.
And worst of all, nobody is going to read this, or care for that matter. Sure a few of you may read this, but in the end Hasbro isn't gonna care how much I think the episode should remain untouched, NEVER MIND ALL OF THE TRUST AND SUPPORT THEY COULD LOSE AND PIRACY THEY'RE PROMOTING..... sigh...

    159. If you think about it, We all are like Rainbow Dash by jumping the gun and started shout out in rage. I think this is perfect to help to relax and calm down.

    160. To all those people that are replying to this saying it is trying to be complacent..... Imho.....you've missed the mark. He's just trying to get as all to calm down and think about what we are saying before we say it so we don't go off spamming peoples inboxes and walls with hate.

"Love & Tolerance is not the same as acceptance". We can still be upset about derpy's "fix" but atleast have some tact when writing complaints to the appropriate figures.

      ReplyDelete
    161. Executive meddling has been the bane of so many great shows.

      ReplyDelete
    162. Stuff got edited. It's disappointing and the principle of it all pisses me off but that one scene isn't going to be changed back now. Show our love and appreciation for the effort given, even if it didn't end so well. Maybe she will speak again in the future and we'll hear her name from somepony.

We know she's named Derpy, is wall-eyed and we love her. The writers and animators know this, they feel the same and will continue to have her make appearances in the show as before. Derpy is alive and well, they just don't say her name out loud in that one episode.

      ReplyDelete
    163. Did you guys get my comic on this issue, or did your email eat it up again?

      ReplyDelete
    164. So glad to see a few more level heads. Though there's still plenty of people that need to calm down. I'd probably be blue in the face if this was real life conversation, but I'll say it again. Being civil about this whole thing doesn't mean being passive. It doesn't mean sitting back and taking it. Far from it. Go ahead and make your opinion known, but just don't come off as a jerk in the process. Be firm but respectful.

      ReplyDelete
    165. So what? Everything's just fine and dandy, huh? Well, it's my personal opinion, that if they added this small scene to the show (regardless of the reasons) they shouldn't back away like they did now. I don't expect them to suddenly make Derpy the seventh Element Bearer or what not, mind you, but cutting out her name is like admitting they made a mistake. And I think they haven't done any. I understand that adding that particular scene was like a gift from DHX/Studio B and I'm eternally grateful for them to shout out to us. But now HASBRO takes this gift from us even before we had our chance to fully appreciate it. Like richfiles said, they just slap us the face.

As a side note, I hope none of the animators/planners/directors at the studio had to suffer some unpleasant consequences because of this whole affair.

Nice try, now go back to your 4chan pit of hell troll.

      ReplyDelete
    167. Well comments seem a bit off again, not sure whats with that. Err anyways...
I honestly do not understand the issue that people have with Derpy, yes, we have gotten used to the issue with her eyes, but, its not that big a deal to have her eyes fixed. Heck, consider that maybe she save the money to have eye surgery to fix her eyes? Would thay be complaining then?
As to the voice, if I remember right, that was an issue with the voice acter that did her the first time, the actor did not know that Derpy was female, and thus used a male voice. A perfictly resonable reason, after all mistakes happen.
I honestly see far too many people getting far too serious, I mean really, some of you are as bad as trekies arguing between Kirk or Bicard. Goodness, give it a rest, and remember that the people who make the show are just that, people! Thay make mistakes, have momants of poor judgment, and other things.
Now, to be blunt, considering how litiguis the US is right now, its safer for them to 'correct' Derpy where she was so visable, if only to protect them. Heck, people are winning the most stupid of lawsuits, so don't whine when thay are trying to cover there backs. Take a chill pill and realize that there really is no choice for them.

      ReplyDelete
    168. If the "new" version had been what originally aired, with the scene produced along with the rest of the show, and to the same standards, none of this would have happened and, as always, the situation would be Everybody Loves Derpy.

Yes, the "new" Derpy scene seems hastily done and isn't up to the usual standards for the show, and feels awkward after having gotten used to the original. I wouldn't mind them cleaning that up a bit.

But a lot of fans, including me, find the new characterization more appealing than the old (not knocking Tabitha's awesome talent at all, just my opinion). She's not dumb, just a bit (okay, VERY) clumsy and forced to deal with some major problems with her eyes. That's okay, isn't it?

I hate seeing my fellow pony fans feeling upset, betrayed, outraged, in some cases heartbroken, or all of the above. I can totally understand that and don't blame anyone for feeling hurt. I also don't think anyone should be discouraged from expressing their honest opinions about this whole mess. This is the time and place to let it all out.

But hope that when we do, we remember what we have learned from this wonderful show, and why we love it enough to feel so strongly about it. :-)

      ReplyDelete
    169. Like a part of the MLP family just passed away... "She'll be fine" could mean a lot of things. With the staples that this has put into the creative process, I don't know if the show will ever be what it was meant to be ever again. Animators and story writers will second guess their drawings and plots now that they know a small group of whiners have powers over them and are watching from behind their backs. I'm not ready to love and tolerate again just yet.

      ReplyDelete
    170. Another thing that needs to be kept in mind by the "stop being angry guys" crowd is that in addition to the slap in the face of the fandom, the edit is just basically offensive on a technical and artistic level. The technical merits of this show pull in a lot of animation buffs. I'm about as far from an art or design major as possible (physics) but even I know that to go back and change an aired episode like this is just wrong. Dash sounds terrible now, the entire conversational flow has been butchered, and as someone pointed out, the synching is off now. The artistic integrity of the episode is now damaged and that is deeply upsetting to some people.

    171. @Bruiser Bro

I agree. But I do not agree with that first line.

That kind of languge is something bronies will never tolerate. What matters of course is how they react to it.

And more often than not, it may not be constructive.

But the brony fandom has all kinds. Remeber that.

I would also advise all of you bronies to use a creative, constructive method of expressing your disppointment instead of hateful, de-constructive methods as seems to be the common reaction.

If it's that hard for you you just need to take a deep breath, step back, look at the big picture, compare this tiny event to everything else going on in the world, and just calm down.
      Remember, irrationality won't fix irrationality.

    174. @Bruiser Bro

Someone over on another site compared this to the SOPA issue. That's how out of touch with coherent reality political thinking is these days. People see a company changing their own product in response to some complaints as EXACTLY THE SAME THING as a government suppressing and censoring the speech of others.

We're a country of people who can only think in absolutes and black and whites. Pinkies Pie on a sugar high in more rational than some of these people.

Seriously, he compared this to SOPA. If I were a judge, I'd order him to go to a psych evaluation.

      ReplyDelete
    175. I can personally say I am not as outraged as some of us are. A fellow brony (pegasister actually) who got me into this fandom and has been a huge fan since G1 could see this issue coming when the episode was first released.

I will say though that I am definately one of the people who didn't like the change. The edit sounded very rushed and the new voice was bad because of how terrible the voice acting was. (If it was Tabitha again, sorry I just liked the old voice better.) Her eyes were changed I know, but remnants of our beloved Derpy's eyes can still be seen here and there and that doesn't take her away entirely with this new edit. Also to know that Derpy will still remain in the show is a sigh of relief from when we all thought that she would be gone from the show forever when itunes originally took down the episode.

One more thing. Those who are so offended by this to start issuing death threats, why? Why would you do that? Are you insane? These threats are only backfiring on the entire community's image. You're disgracing us. You need to stop after you've read this (if you are one of these people, which most likely you won't even try to read this), recall what we as bronies stand for (Love and Tolerence if you have already forgotten or never even learned), and calm down. These outbursts have already dealt their damage to the community and now have made us look even worse than ever before. (More fodder for the media.)

I'm glad to hear Kreoss speaking up in the event of this happening and hopefully doesn't change about how he or Hasbro views us. Many of us have calmed down by this post, some still need time to recover from it and there may be some who won't. But for those of us that who have a clear head about this (after we had vented for a bit) are glad to know that he is trying to help us bronies get through this peacefully and that I can still say is what makes this fandom so good; knowing that the people who created what we enjoy so much actually listen to us and were at least willing to try and give us more than what we could ever had expected from them or any other show out there. Looking forward to more episodes.

Because some people, who I'm guessing are trolls and not concerned parents or anything like that, claimed derpy was offensive to people who have ED and other related issues.

    182. Now hold up that is a good point that he put here and besides we prob got how many people who are good with computers to make the original a video file to work on anything my friend took the dvd of the ticket master and made it a file to work on my phone lol

    183. @Filiecs
Well i know that in the end it doesn't matter because i have the original version downloaded, but this could potentially screw Derpy over for good. I'm not asking for them to give Derpy another part - what they've given us was plenty enough to last a while. I'm just worried that this will somehow get worse.
No doubt i could definitely use a chill pill, it just saddens and angers me that in today's day and age, if a few people don't like something, if there's not a lawsuit, they pull something like this.
Either way im done for the night, talk to you all laterz :\
