Wow... I can't believe how aggravated I am by this! To be honest, I think this a little excessive and I kinda feel like I got trolled with this Drawfriend.
ReplyDeleteI understand that SOPA/PIPA are serious problems to our community (and the Internet as a whole) and must be dealt with immediately, but I can't help but think that we are giving too much attention to bills that (hopefully) don't even have a chance to pass with all the attention that it's receiving on other sites.(And yes, I already did contact my representative)
Not trying to be negative or anything, just a tad aggravated is all. :) And to Seth and all the other authors of EqD I love all of you guys and will never stop coming to this wonderful site with this amazing community, no matter what may be going on that day.
*Sigh* For the greater cause of our ponies, yes?

ReplyDeleteThat's too big a potential voting block for Congress and the Senate to piss off. And this is an election year.
By now they must realize that anyone who supports this and is up for reelection will be torn to shreds by the opposition and they will lose in an embarrassingly titanic landslide. All that Hollywood money ain't gonna do them no good if we kick their asses out on the street.

ReplyDeleteHell, has he LOOKED at the view counter? 104 million views in the last 2 years is ungodly amazing! If EQD can even just bring .001% of that influence into the issue (that's 1/1000th of 1%) that's still over a thousand people added to the anti-SOPA cause contacting their congress people.
