I've been told that people think only bad stories end up here. This is definitely not the case, in fact we have had 2-3 six star stories in the last few. When an influx of updates comes in, they are compiled here instead of posting five things and spamming the new stuff. Some nights I will only get three, and I toss those up the old fashioned way.
In other words, don't ignore the update posts. As always, you can find past ones quickly by bookmarking/selecting the UPDATE link.

I think the "Only bad stories" stigma of these posts has to deal with the fact that certain stories (mainly Fallout: Equestria) are guaranteed an hour-long bump whenever they update, but that same guarantee doesn't carry over to any 'lesser' stories.
If you make an exception for one story, you're saying that other stories don't deserve that same treatment for whatever reason; quality and popularity are the first two criteria that come to mind when evaluating a story's worth. Therefore, if a story doesn't get its own post when others are being lumped together, it is implied that it's not good enough to deserve its own post.
That's not to say anything about the actual quality of the stories, and it's definitely not me giving my opinion on any of the stories that end up here; it's just what I think the stigma comes from.
Do we even have a European guy who manages EqD when everyone else is asleep?
I mean, there's always a lull in Britain at around mid-day and early afternoon.

If they don't have one already, There's probably a bunch of UK bronyfolks who'd give a left hoof for the shot (partly guilty myself. XD), but methinks they're probably quite happy working the system they have going already - can't see much of a reason to change what's worked this far along now.
