    1. I loved this one :3

I really need to read the rest!!

Unfortunately I am having Cutie Mark complications at the moment, so I'm putting stories aside for now :(

    2. Hooray for bilingual jokes. I may have to read this just due to the title.

    3. This was a wonderful story. I just wish we got to see the children's reactions to the pictures!

But it's WTFHIW who made the story. So who's surprised at the fact that it's an excellent story?

    4. That's a pretty cool title. Gonna have to get back to this

    6. Damm you sticking that all the way at the bottom like that. Good story though.

    7. Well after reading to the bottom of page nine I have one thing to say...

I LOST THE GAME. DAMN YOU WTFHIW

    8. Title?
      S O C K S (Read each letter out loud)
      Nice story.

    9. When I finished reading it, I noticed that there were still two plank pages. So, I scrolled to the bottom of them, and... you, good sir, are a professional troll. The story was good. I have, in fact, lost the game.

    10. I seriously don't know why the author made two blank pages just to write two words that aren't even funny...

      ReplyDelete
    11. That was very amusing, well done!

Also, someone needs to do artwork or animation of the final scene. XD

    12. Wait a second... Celestia invented gravity?!

    13. @icekatze

Don't go blaming that on her >:(

Also I got my cutie mark halfarsed working! Yay!

    14. I have to say, that picture is adorable.

I suppose that one's familiarity with those two unfunny words depends on their overall experience with... *ahem*... certain online haunts. For those who are familiar with them, this is obligatory.

Why put them there at all? Because the story "is what it is": Silly. With sock-racing princesses, and a tale of a brother and sister playing an endless game of The Dozens (or "Cappin'" as it was known in my neck of the woods when Carter was President). So, yeah. Silly fic is silly, and that required som'n extra silly just for the sake of being... you know. :D

As for the schoolponies' reaction to the pictures, I'm sure Luna's & Celestia's favorite shots would make their way onto a corkboard next to Manehattan P.S. 42's 3rd grade classroom door, and the colts & fillies would bombard their parents with excited, prideful stories about how Equestria's rulers loved the gifts they made. Maybe, if we're fortunate, some kind drawfriend would be so inspired to set such a scene. (Hint, hint.)

Before I forget: Midnight, thanks to you and your minions for organizing & running the challenge! It was a blast, and just the kind of distraction I needed to clear my head. ;)

    16. Aw, it was a sweet read, I'd gladly read more!

    17. Hmmm... the guy who made the Dungeon&Friendship (something like that) story ? Well, this should be interesting.
(On another note... Will there be more of 'that' story, or is it dead ?)

... It's nice to have Luna visit other places in Equestria, plus having a few good (and funny) experiences in the process :) ...

      >“They're socks, dearest.
-Yay, socks ;). For cold night and Winter.

      >Luna took to her hooves and paraded down the long runner-carpet
-A 'Royal socks parade' :). Ya hear that Rarity ! Fashionable socks !

... small note : *Cornsilk* is a great (and nice) name for a small town :) ...

      >expecting Luna to remove her stockings
-Huh, wasn't it said... quite a few times... that they were ''socks'', and not ''stockings'' ?

      >a couple of quick flaps caused her to slide a few feet forward rather than taking her into the air. “Well, hello . . . what have we here?”
      >“Put your socks back on, Celly! You are challenged to a race!”
      -SOCK RACE ! :D
...you can just picture the *immense* 'funny-silliness' of the situation, coming from the 2 (Princesses)ponies ''sliding'' on their 4 hooves, while being propelled with their wings ! XD
      * Alicorn-kart : Socks Edition *

      >THE GAME
-I don't get why there's 2 empty pages, with 2 lone words, at the end ?

... So, it was a nice read, light and enjoyable. It was definitely interesting to hear about Luna doing ''things'' in Equestria, and also having genuine 'fun' with her Sister (something that is extremely rare in stories, really) ...
(Personally, I say that 'THIS' story should have been #2, and not #3. Really.)

Oh, mixed story authors, I think...

I meant about the ''Goodwill Tour'' story.

Because everyone must lose every so often. It keeps folks humble. If it's any consolation, I lost when I read your post. Hoisted by me own petard! As Albert the Alligator of Pogo fame once said, "Communist! You put out my see-gar!" ;-)

      >-Huh, wasn't it said... quite a few times... that they were "socks", and not "stockings" ?
Socks are stockings. Short ones, in fact, which made for convenient synonyms. I like synonyms (but not as much as Thistle likes turnip sandwiches).

And, yes... I'm still working on Luna's Goodwill Tour.

No... no... of course not. All is explained in my previous reply to Latias4Ever. There's links in there. Links for clickin'.

From what I'm reading... It seems like a 'Troll game' of some sort...

Not quite something interesting, so to speak ?

      ReplyDelete
    23. @Nova25
Interesting? Nope. Just silly like the rest of the story.

      I forgot about the game.
