the symbol is called a swastika, it's a common religious symbol, the nazis weren't the first or only to use it. Also, that's Ichigo's bankai sword from Bleach.

Umm, by the way, that's not Shinigami Twilight... A Shinigami is a (Japanese) god of death, esp. as used in Death Note. This here is Twilight wearing the clothes that Ichigo Kurosaki from Bleach wears when he's in Bankai form, not to mention that Tenshou is one of Ichigo's primary attacks.

To further build on it, the shape of the guard is apparently the japanese character for "Ban", as in bankai.

And Kurosaki wears the clothes of the Shinigami... Don't try to be smart, If you don't know all the fact ;) Death Note isn't the only manga with shinigami in it.

Don't get me wrong, but the whole "not-fanfiction" tag isn't going to work if you don't put it on everything.
Otherwise people will have to keep checking the normal site to find the articles you miss.
I think this just about proves that Madmax is the most insanely awesome MLP fan of us all. Her levels of awesome are only exceeded by Lauren Faust and the other creators of FiM themselves!

btw thats not actually a swastika. The swords shape changes when Ichigo uses his bankai. The crossguard has four prongs bent out to form the shape of the manji (which is the kanji for "ban," meaning "full", as in "full release" ("ban kai")

When we reach 10 million we will just count every 5 million as a milestone, then every 10.
So Celestia as an Uchiha, Pinkie Pie as Deadpool and Twilight as Ichigo from Bleach. I can't wait to see what other characters Madmax crosses MLP with.
