Me too. Although, it was a neat twist with Twilight there.
Meh... I don't know... The story feels quite average, for some reasons.
It's not 'bad', but I just didn't find that much interesting elements in it.
Snips and Snails were the ones that had to clean up that mess.. can you imagine if wither of them found the cape?
And what if if the cape actually did have some magical spell on it?
Twist? It would have been a twist if it haven't been spoiled twice in the description and opening picture.

I'm now imagining Photo Finish appearing out of nowhere shouting: "No capes!"
It was a good story, but there isn't much to it. I think it needs to be expanded upon, have something more interesting in the mix. Like perhaps this could be the start of Twilight becoming a showoff like she feared; or Trixie could show up searching for her prize outfit (where it is learned that the outfit is an heirloom, contains super magic, or something like that) and Twilight creates a web of lies to keep the cape to herself, before realising the err of her ways; or even something more... explosive?
Really, this feels more like the start of a story than an entire story. I'd like to see this expanded upon

You know, I don't blame Twilight for cracking up. Trixie's outfit is overkill on pretty-much anyone.
