    3. April 9th? A bit early, eh? =D

    4. First comment? Ok then, here's my theory. Grand galloping gala. Standard, right?
Who was the first pony mentioned in the series?
Moondancer. Who was throwing a party? Moondancer. Who gave twi a gift she ignored? Moondancer. Who is Celestia's nephew but twi was too busy to notice? Moondancer. Mark my words.

    5. Could possibly be about the Grand Galloping Gala.

      ReplyDelete
    6. The title reminds me of the fic "The Party Hasn't Ended."

      ReplyDelete
    7. Hmm, I wouldn't expect them to announce one episode at a time if it was part of the season finale, I presume the last episode (guessing as many have to be about the Gala) is likely a one-parter.

And yay for a /likely/ Pinkie episode

    8. Correction needed in the post. The date is a typo, it should be 4/29/2011

      ReplyDelete
    9. With the word 'party' in the title alone, this just reeks of Pinkieness.

    10. If you look at Aol video the episode that will come out 4/9/2011 is a bird in the hoof. Fluttershy borrows the Princess's sick bird so she can heal it. So the next episode will be a fluttershy episode from what i can see.

lol, that was what I was going to say. Could it be that ponies have finally driven Lauren Faust insane to the point of revealing the first ever MLP shipping episode?!11one

    12. Next time on My Little Pony:

Pinkie Pie returns from a cake-decorating convention in Fillydelphia to find Ponyville abandoned. The only clue: Applejack's new apple cellar is locked tight and can't be opened. Can Pinkie discover the reason for this mysterious occurrence, or will she be destined to forever be...

      A PARTY OF ONE

    13. It's about the opposite of Bittersweet. Pinkie Pie is the last living creature on the pony planet and she has to come to terms with having nopony else to party with.

      ReplyDelete
    14. Is it bad that I read the title of this episode and automatically think its gunna be Pinkie shipping?

I need to stop reading so many fanfics..... 0_0

    15. @ButterscotchSundae

I had the theme song to "Iron Chef" in my head when reading this.

    16. Not to be a downer (I'd be happier than Pinkie to have this be correct), but if episode 22 airs on 4/8/2011, why would episode 25 air the day after? That makes no sense!

      ReplyDelete
    17. If Lauren hadn't already said no Luna until S2, I would definitely have guessed Luna's birthday party.

    18. Pinkie has a party for no reason *it's pinkie she doesn't need a reason* but no one shows up and then SUDDENLY EVERYPONY COMES OUT OF FKING NOWHERE.

Then they all fu... had a party together.

      ReplyDelete
    19. @AnonymousActually, Spike got Moondancer a present, but it was ruined by his tail when Twilight burst in and knocked him down.

      ReplyDelete
    20. hmmmm

      forever alone episode?

      ReplyDelete
    21. I'm going to go ahead and speculate as well.

Lauren said Pinkie would be wrong in an episode. That may have been her war starting song, but she was technically still right there.

Say this episode is about Pinkie being wrong. Pinkie does something, assumes she's right, but basically makes everyone hate her and spends the episode figuring out she was wrong, and why.

      Hence the title.

    22. Pinkie partying alone?

      ;_;

      ReplyDelete
    23. I'm going to take a different route on this
I have my sources who told me that the season ender is another 2-parter.
I think twilight does something wrong, and is afraid to tell her friends in fear that she would upset them. Subsequently ignoring them and getting into big trouble with some baddies.

if im wrong, then i hope it involves pinkie

      ReplyDelete
    24. replace ignoring to avoiding. my apologies for the mixup

      ReplyDelete
    25. @Anonymous

Except Moondancer is most likely a reference to a female pony from G1

      ReplyDelete
    26. are we gonna see the grand galloping gala?

      ReplyDelete
    27. Pinkie Pie episode. She's annoying, everyone gets mad at her, nobody comes to her party, and she has to find a way to make it all up to them. That's my theory. Its going to be hilarious, and everyone is going to feel sad.

    28. @ButterscotchSundae
Each pony is dispatched with a message - all except one. One pony carries portions of all the other messages in her letter, she alone is responsible for making sure that when the other messages are received, they are correct in aggregate. This pony is...

      A PARITY OF ONE

      --

Eh? Too much of a stretch? Parity bits in communication channels? Ah well.

/r/ that this episode have a Pinkie song plox.

If this ep focuses on the sole development of Pinkie, we may see a more serious side to her character rather than her bubbly public persona.

      @Anonymous
~Say this episode is about Pinkie being wrong.
      >>Could be that Pinkie gets ostracized in this ep, though I don't get the impression that fits with the show's style (focusing on bonds between individuals rather than breaking them).

      ReplyDelete
    29. omgomgomgomgomg! I hope it is a Pinkie Pie episode!

      ReplyDelete
    30. @Parallel Logic

Haven't seen much parity done on 5 bits; but with base64 encoding it makes sense. Especially with 6 main ponies; and the fact the parity bit given five equal data's should indeed be one.

      am i thinking too much?

      ReplyDelete
    31. Prediction
A> Twilight finds a new magical tome (page-turner fiction novel), and finds herself depressed and withdrawn from friends lately. Her pals get together to devise a plan to cheer her up.
B> DashiePie. Rainbow Dash is determined to do everything on her own without any help from friends. It ends up impossible, and Applejack tries to buck some sense into Dash. Failing that, Pinkie Pie throws a party!
C> Pinkie Pie BALLOONS EVERYWHERE episode.
S> Ponies play DnD. Trixie takes over and tries to dominate the game, ignoring everyone else.

      ReplyDelete
    32. I predict a simple storyline...

Everypony has been avoiding Pinkie Pie, Making the usually jolly pony less than normal.

(Episode actually is a big surprise party being held by all the other pony for Pinkie, since she is usually the one to hold parties, this is a twist)

      ReplyDelete
    33. If only Luna wasn't appearing until Season 2!

That title would make for an epic Emo Luna episode.

      ReplyDelete
    34. @Anonymous

      Awww, I want this one.

      ReplyDelete
    35. I'm just disappointed we're not getting an epic two-parter to end the season.

      ReplyDelete
    36. Speculation: Everypony's busy, so Pinkie has to entertain herself all day.

      Then friendship happens somehow.

      ReplyDelete
    37. Speculation: After nobody came to Pinkies party, because they were to busy taking in the fabulousity of Steven Magnets 'stach, Pinkie renamed herselfe to "Pinkie Cry" and became an emo.

      I'M DEAD FUCKING SEREOUS!

      ReplyDelete
    38. Twilight wakes up in Canterlot, and it was all a dream. She wonders if she should change her life so it would become like the dream. And in the end, she wakes up in Ponyville.

      ReplyDelete
    39. what if it is a two parter! Party of one part 1 and it is a Gala Episode! wouldn't that be mind blowing?

      ReplyDelete
    40. It IS a two-parter.

      ReplyDelete
    41. "Party of one" Sounds like a sadfic for Pinkie Pie.

God I hope they keep the fandom and the show seperate.

      ReplyDelete
    42. hi hi

If, at some point in the episode, Pinkie Pie throws a party and nobody shows up, it may well ruin me. :(

      ReplyDelete
    43. what if it's part one of the gala episode, and part two is the start of the second season?

Which would mean we'd have to wait all summer for the conclusion.

Which would be agonizing. And a clever way to keep people watching the show.

      ReplyDelete
    44. @Sir Leadhead
Not even clever; it's dang cliche...

But I do hope this is pinkie-pie related, and for some reason I kind of expect something sad-ish to happen...

      ReplyDelete
    45. Okay, lets toss out a prediction...
Big party of some sort made by pinkie... all of her friends say they're busy, pinkie goes "aww, gonna be alone" *worlds smallest violin* then, BAM! Surprize party for pinkie

      Alternate
Big party that every one of the mane 6 gets invited to except pinkie, pinkie goes "awww" *worlds smallest violin* turns out, BAM they planned a big surprize party for her

      ReplyDelete
    46. How do people know this isn't part 1 of a 2 part season finale? there are 26 episodes aren't there? Or has 26 already been announced and I missed it?
Looking forward to whatever it is anyway

      ReplyDelete
    47. I really looking foward to the Cutie Mark Chronicles to find outt how our favourite ponies earned their cuti mark.

      ReplyDelete
    48. maybe its PARTy of ONE. like there is a PARTy of TWO as the next episode and it will be a two parter

      ReplyDelete
    49. "PARTY OF ONE - After a less-than-successful Bar Mitzvah for Gummy, Pinkie Pie worries she is losing her party mojo and her friends must restore her confidence. Andrew WK guest stars."

      ReplyDelete
    50. My prediction is this one will be about Pinkie Pie learning she can't be a happy-go-lucky party animal ALL the damn time, and she will learn it the hard way.

      ReplyDelete
    51. I'll speculate that it's Pinkie's birthday, and even though she drops hints in her... ahem, "own way," nopony seems to be realizing it. Pinkie will go off on her own, possibly singing her own rendition of "It's My Party and I'll Cry if I Want to."

      ReplyDelete
    52. For some reason that title creeps me out. It seems like a Grimdark Fanfic title instead of an episode title.

      Oh, and Hell Yeah Pinkie.

      ReplyDelete
    53. 26th and final season 1 episode was announced
