I liked it. You have a skill in this sort of backstory stuff. I enjoy how you let something of a similar theme unfold completely differently for different ponies (referencing the Party one).
I wonder, do ponies have medication for this sort of the thing. Anyway, this is a nice subtle story. No monsters, no shipping, just a friend sharing a burden.
