Unicorns just LOVE to get corrupted by magic. It's a very common theme in the show! Usually they get out of it by some specific way, but what if one of those magical artifacts hit them with a permanent curse? Where the only way to stop it would be to take them out?
Imagine if Twilight or Rarity were nailed with one of those. Would Rainbow Dash ditch her loyalty defeat them? Or would she find a way to make it work?
