After being down since April 24th, it looks like we might be seeing the return of 4chan some time next week. At least in read only form according to senior moderator GrapeApe who has been releasing status updates on it over the past week.
On Sunday or Monday it will most likely enter read only mode, and experience plenty of downtime after once things get chugging again as their new servers spin up and bugs are squashed.
On the pony front, that means the return of /mlp/, and all the threads within finally escaping the clutches of alt-chan sites that were not too happy about the flood of pony content, or at least pony content they disagreed with.
