I asked for castles, and I got loads of castles, even if some of them are just props. Ponies Around the World came to a close last week, and all the entries have been sorted up for posting! For the sake of all your computers, and tradition, it will once again be split into three, with ~100 images per day. Altogeather we got around 350 ponies hangin out at monuments, national parks (assuming the government isn't shut down), and various other locales around the world!

This photo was taken in February this year, when I was on a trip in Vietnam. Wherever I've been, I kept this Applejack in my pocket as some sort of mascot. So, one day our group tripped to Ha Long Bay, a beautiful place full of mountains and rocks. Later in the afternoon, we landed on an island with the high mountain, on which it was possible to go up and see "the view from above". And there I took my phone to take a photo, but suddenly wanted to make it more original. So that's the result!

Taken at the Michigan vs. Akron football game on 9/14/13. The game took place at Michigan Stadium (also known as The Big House) in Ann Arbor, MI. Michigan Stadium is the largest stadium in the United States, and one of the largest in the world, regularly seating crowds of over 110,000. It was a nice day, very sunny as you can tell. Michigan narrowly defeated Akron 28-24 in an extremely thrilling game. Fluttershy is truly a Michigan fan. Go Blue!

The sign says: "During the construction of Oktogon in 1899, a stray dog was embraced by the builders and the building's architect Josip Vancaš. He became a faithful friend and guardian of the construction site, a task on which he was killed. The architect and the builders raised this monument in memory of their guardian and friend." It was placed in an inner yard inaccessible to the public, until the recent efforts and persistance of a group of citizens resulted in moving the monument into the street where everyone can see it.
