Prof. Button is looking for participants to take this survey for his AP English final essay on social abnormalities.  If anyone is interested in participating, you can find the link below! It might be interesting just to see the results in general.

    3. "Do You Consider Yourself a Normal Person?"

Well that's all relative, isn't it?

      Nice survey, though.

    4. AP tests were like a month ago.

Why you still working man? I stopped doing anything in AP after that.

    5. T'was quite interesting, if I do say so myself.

      ReplyDelete
    6. Lol, do you consider yourself a normal person?

      No :P

    7. Social abnormality? I resent that!...

      Ah, who am I kidding.

    8. Part of me finds it funny that the hardest question on there was "Do you consider yourself a normal person?" All the other questions took me a second or so to answer with 11's or check almost all check boxes. I am interested in the results as well.

      ReplyDelete
    9. Are the results going to be posted anywhere at some point?

      ReplyDelete
    10. "Do you consider yourself a normail person?"

      i guess i am, yeah

    11. that's not fair, your options for activity in the brony community dont include getting banned for a month when 4chan mods went crazy and banned all pony references.

      ReplyDelete
    12. Am I a normal person? No, I'm not. BECAUSE I AM NOT A PERSON I AM A PEGASUS LOL

      ...I need help. =[

      ReplyDelete
    13. Nopony's normal, neither is nobody, nomonster, nocats, nodogs and no supposedly evil eye monsters that watches My Little Pony.

Normal is subjective by ones own idea of what normal is, if you think you are normal I'd be considered highly abnormal to your design because I don't meet your definition of normal.

Also I'm a freaking creature of lonelieness, despair and supposed evil so of course I'm not normal, my gender even reads as other or close to male if I'm to go by my voice.

    14. AP English?

Sure, I took both AP english classes during highschool :3

    15. lol my favorite was "Cute ponies, man."

      ReplyDelete
    16. I filled it out, then it told me to sign up

      so did it take my results or not? XD;

    17. I feel like I screwed the Bronies.

I'm unemployed, single, and not normal.

In my defense I'm only 16.

But still it'll mess up the stats XD And on how much I like the community I put only a 9 just because of Cupcakes and the Clopfic :P aside from those I love this community and I'm proud to be a part of it.

--Brony_and_proud (darn you computer virus! I can't log into blogger from my iPod!)

    18. Toot society. Let's all be abnormal together! :3

      ReplyDelete
    19. Put a 7 on community because of racy fanfic, and sexual images of ponies/humanized pony characters. It botches the goodness of the show.

But I consider myself a normal person.

      ReplyDelete
    20. ...Define "normal."

Also, D. Shadows? The whole "evil monster of darkness" gag is starting to irk me a little bit. I mean, it's not like you're actually—

*notices red eyes staring through window*

      ...Never mind, then. Carry on!

      ReplyDelete
    21. Normal? Well, I gauge other peoples "normalness" based on my own behaviour, so of course I'm normal!

      ...

      Cute ponies, man.

      ReplyDelete
    22. Eh, I don't believe in the concept of normality.

      ReplyDelete
    23. Might as well have asked "Do you have a life?"

      ...>no

      ReplyDelete
    24. Question 12 needs to be fixed as there's no option to put if you haven`t bought any toys, and the survey won`t let you not answer it.

      ReplyDelete
    25. That last question really made me pause and think...

      ReplyDelete
    26. I lold at the last question. I gave up trying to be "Normal" before I left elementary school.

      ReplyDelete
    27. They need a question about writing. Can't draw to save my life but been obsessed with writing lately.

      ReplyDelete
    28. lol NORMAL? WHO U CALLING NORMAL?!?

      ReplyDelete
    29. Eww, he should've used MisterPoll or Quibblo, this survery site is shit.

      ReplyDelete
    30. Except fromt the last question it was a no brainer, clicked no on the last one since doing the stuff I do (ant that includes watching little ponies) isn't considered normal by society / age standarts. Not that that is a bad thing though.

      ReplyDelete
    31. Hah, like normal exists. We watch ponies, of course we ain't "normal".

      I checked that anyways.

      ReplyDelete
    32. pffft, I'm weird and I've known it for a loooooong time. Normal people suck1

      ReplyDelete
    33. This is the shortest survey I've ever participated in.

      ReplyDelete
    34. Community gets a 9 (because it has a slight darkside), but it's loads better than any other community I've been a part of. I mean, seriously, there's a monthlong event for budding artists. I think that's the first community event I've ever been a part of.

I'm confused now. I didn't answer the "awkwardness" question, so did my results go through?

      ReplyDelete
    35. And yeah, that last question. I checked "Normal" because that's how society perceives me. But no one can be completely normal. It's impossible. We're all a little (or very) weird behind closed doors. I know I'm weird through the way I perceive things, but that's a mental state and not publicly acknowledgeable.

I always read too much into these things.

      ReplyDelete
    36. 14. Last (and most important) question. Do you consider yourself a "normal" person?
      Yes
      No /

Normal people are boring, I'd rather just be myself. Mix things up a little you know?

      And that concludes the survey

      ReplyDelete
    37. >Filled out survey
      >Clicked Submit Button
      >"Please join the site before anything else lol kthx"

      ...eh, no thanks.

      ReplyDelete
    38. I'm fairly sure that most bronies won't classify themselves as "normal". Many might appear normal to the objective observer, but be eccentric when with friends and fellow bronies (though a lot of people are like this). Regardless, I bet the normal/not distribution will be like 25/75, at minimum.

      Personally, I said "no" :D

      ReplyDelete
    39. I'm eager to see the results, I love surveys!

      ReplyDelete
    40. So when do we see the results?

      ReplyDelete
    41. So all here is employed?

      ReplyDelete
    42. I am so normal. Normaler than all of you.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to go spend time with mai waifu.

      Twilight <3

      ReplyDelete
    43. Yeah about that Are You Normal question, Im on a blog dedicated to ponies. So nope, not by a long shot and I am proud of it.

      ReplyDelete
    44. I'd like a broader variety of ways to say "no" to question 9. Nobody knows, but that's because I simply don't tell anyone because I don't need to, not because NOBODY CAN KNOW EVER.

      ReplyDelete
    45. @Bitmun
Oh, also, I'm immensely curious as to how many people answered "other" to the gender question. We certainly aren't lacking in the "I'm a manly man and I watch ponies" department, but there can hardly be a lack of male bronies who connect strongly with the feminine nature of the show, and how many of those (or otherwise) are going to check that checkbox will me an interesting sight to see.

      ReplyDelete
    46. Interesting selection of questions; maybe not perfect but it's hard to word survey questions correctly. Probably should have left off the "11" response. In fact, there's probably too much granularity for the "rate" questions, which will make teasing results out a bit trickier.

Still, throw some nonparametric methods at this when it's done and maybe we'll learn something?

      ReplyDelete
    47. The last question needs another answer:
(What is this normal you speak of?)

I just don't feel satisfied enough with (No) I'm not normal. lol

      ReplyDelete
    48. the last question was a trick question

      ReplyDelete
    49. I've got a thinking brain and a beating heart.

      Pretty sure I'm normal!

      ReplyDelete
    50. Dutifully filled in. Think I might be at the high end of the age bell curve (It's terrifying to be in the X+ category now.)
Also, my picture is the title! I dance the happy dance.

      ReplyDelete
    51. I agree with Ben Hale. I like the show, but I'm not into the whole "let's make all the ponies into each other and see what kind of weird love stories we can come up with..." that stuff kind of ruins it for me.

      ReplyDelete
    52. I for one really appreciate the 'other' choice on the first question.

      ReplyDelete
    53. A good attempt but I'm 21, so do I fall under the 18-21 or 21-25 group? The humour in some questions, such as question in question 7, could also affect the results; people who were merely positive about the community and would not have selected 10 might pick 11 because of the affects of humour. Finally may have been more useful with follow up questions like 'Do you consider your normality, or lack there of to be a problem?'. There also was not an additional comments section at where I could explain my answers or leave comments. As such I shall explain now 'I consider myself normal because not everything that I do can be considered normal; a person who is not at all socially deviant would be truly abnormal (and paradoxically a lack of social deviancy is in itself socially deviant).

      ReplyDelete
    54. The survey was all right but just a little short, I completed it in ten seconds flat.
And this must have been about the 100th time I encountered the question "Are you normal?"
      Don't think so ;D

      ReplyDelete
    55. At the "Are you male or female?" question, there should have been a fourth option:

      "FUCK YOU I'M A PONY"

lol. Filled it out all the same.

      ReplyDelete
    56. The hell is a 'normal' person

      ReplyDelete
    57. Where's the fun in normal? The kooks are the ones who have the fun and change the world.

      ReplyDelete
    58. Social abnormality?! Who the hell gets to say what is normal and what is not! Gender is a social construct which is not inherently linked with biological sex. I say Fuck off and let us enjoy our ponies!

      ReplyDelete
    59. Missing options (not surprising I guess for student when the future looks bright): single with children, divorced, divorced with children.

      ReplyDelete
    60. Do you consider yourself a normal person? FUCK I ANSWERED IT WRONG of course im not normal if i was normal i would pretty much be a clone being different IS normal

    61. I have a feeling this show will single handedly save our economy yet.

If it does, maybe I'll turn the TV on again instead of looking it up on Youtube.

      ReplyDelete
    62. Gotta admit the final question of "normality" is so damn relative.....

I answered yes but instantly had to do a doubletake of myself.......

I think anyone would do a self-doubletake no matter who they are or how they answer such a question.

"Normal" has almost zero meaning. -_-
But that's probably why its used at the very end lol

      ReplyDelete
    63. "Normal?" I'm not normal, I'm a warp-damned 40k'er, by the Throne! Omnissiah's Cogs, they don't come much less normal than me!

And I watch ponies. Emperor's boxer shorts, what's wrong with me?!

      ReplyDelete
    64. Guys, it's asking you if YOU view yourself as a normal person or not, not if you are "objectively" normal.

      ReplyDelete
    65. NORMALITY IS FOR THE WEAK!
      MEAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAhAHAHA!!!

      ReplyDelete
    66. Done.

Please don't forget to share the results :)

Oh, and a quote that bumped to my mind when I saw the normality question:

"Sanity's really just a one trick pony, you just get one trick: rational thought. But when you're good and crazy, oh baby! The skies the limit!" - The Tick
