• PMV: Rainbow Syndrome / Reading a Book / We'll Meet Again

Number one is so blindingly happy. It's a shame it sort of has a dark side hidden in there.

    1.) Double rainbow syndrome
    2.) Twilight's Reading a Book
    3.) We'll Meet Again

    2. Vid 1 is seizure-rific! :P

And vid 2 made me smile. X3

Vid 3 was pretty good too.

    3. I didn't think I was very susceptible to seizures, but whoa. I couldn't watch the whole thing in widescreen 2 feet away from a 27" monitor.

    4. Oh, cool, I love this song! Pinkie Pie getting high, that's kinda funny. Hey, where did all the color go? AHHH, MY EYES, THERE'S TOO MANY COLORS!

    5. The third one made me cry inside.

    7. I've been watching that first one practically nonstop since I first saw it yesterday. So much flashy happy. So much.

    8. Dear lord.

I've never laughed so hard at a PMV before.

      "I'M READING A BOOK."

Also, I never realized how much Twilight reads throughout the series. There are at least 20 different scenes in that video.

    11. Oh God...that first video reminds me way too much of the way Pinkie Pie is characterized in Fallout: Equestria...

    13. OMG

      Ponies + Julian Smith

    14. I've always loved both versions of Numa Numa, and they just made it 20% cooler by putting it with ponies.

Even though "Some Sunny Day" is kinda depressing, it still fits with ponies because its also happy :D

    20. I could just watch the transition from Pinkamina-Diane-Pie to Pinkie-Pie over and over again.

    21. First two videos made me happy, but the third was instant sad, because of Fry's dog.

    22. Oh my god, that first video is like rainbows on crack fusing with Pinkie Pie

    23. Video 1...
...We need to start injecting enough drugs into the worlds water supplies for the real world to seem like that. I don't care that the world will collapse, WE WILL GO DOWN WITH ONE HELL OF A PARTY!

I just got goosebumps and my eyes got a bit teary when I read your comment while listening to the third one. I had never thought about that day before...

SAY IT'S NOT TRUE! SAY THAT DAY WILL NEVER COME!!!

    25. OMC that voice suits twilight SO well. its slightly creepy >_>

    26. Is it just me, or does that last song make anyone else think of Kkat's "Fallout: Equestria" story? Sounds like something we'd hear from an old record, or perhaps redone by Velvet Remedy, while crashing about the wasteland....

    27. With number three, you have managed to associate/overwrite a large WWII section of my brain that even Godwin's Law couldn't manage.

      Vera Lynn is always appropriate.

    29. Ow, I was expecting Johnny Cash singing, that´s my favorite version of this song. Anyway, that is my favorite departure song, I wish I could sing it to my family everytime I leave my home for a long time, but there is no version in spanish :(

    30. D'awwww, dammit. Why the hell did I tear up over three? WHY?

    31. Creator of PMV #2 here, thanks for the positive feedback everypony! In the words of Julian Smith himself, "I made this for YOU!", so I'm glad you liked it. :D

    32. That second one made me want to listen to Scotland the Brave. (I like bagpipes. I think there must be something in Scotch/Irish genetics.)

      ReplyDelete
    33. And the last one makes me want to go read Fallout: Equestria!

      ReplyDelete
    34. Creator of PMV #3 here. Thanks for the positive comments :)

    35. @Polecat
Because of Fallout, I can't listen to any song from the 40's or 50's without thinking of it. So yeah, you're not the only one to make that connection, though strangely "We'll meet again" has never appeared in a Fallout game despite how popular and fitting to the series it is.

      ReplyDelete
    36. Someone made a PMV of "We'll Meet Again" and DID NOT include a reference to Doctor Strangelove?

Where was the Equestria-destroying Sonic Rainboom? I was expecting an Equestria-destroying Sonic Rainboom...

      ReplyDelete
    37. @Anonymous
Don't worry, my second PMV has Sonic Rainbooms in it
