• Research is Magic Starts New Project: Your Own Story

While studies such as the Brony Study have been gathering quantitative data on the fandom for a few years now, Research is Magic is hoping to do something just a little bit different. They have started a new project that hopes to collect a Historical Narrative of the fandom!

They're wishing for your help though so check on after the break for the full details!

RiM would like to soft-launch a new project: the "Brony Narrative History Project"!
Fuller description here: https://goo.gl/6YUpV6 -- but basically, we'll gather people's stories about being a brony, focusing on the details. We think the other more quantitative studies, like @CoderBrony's, are great, but we also think the unique ways people are fans is important too. Kurt and I also wanted to make an effort to engage with the fandom on its own terms and let people speak for themselves, as much as possible.
So imagine: a website with an interactive timeline spanning the fandom's history, populated with key moments you as fans think are important. You'd click a moment on the timeline and people would tell you about it in text, audio, and video what was it like when the word brony was first floating around? When Twilight grew wings? How was that person's experience of Bronycon?

We start with a survey to see where you are coming from, then we continue. with you on things we find interesting in your response, In the medium of your choice. If you're interested in being a part of this project, the survey is here:http://goo.gl/forms/k08V21veHZ …
