That was absolutley brilliant. The voices, the animation, the gag.
This fanbase is so creative and skilled creating incredible fanworks whether it's fanart or video games or snowponies so we get kinda spoiled and take it for granted when these things pop up.
That animation was awesome, I was just watching the way Pinkie bounced around so smoothly! Also the voices are brilliantly accurate. Was so scared about the dude with the gun though, seeing AJ at the end was a relief!

Also, no relation between and and the animated farmer (I kind of wish though, since then I could visit him and by extension all the ponies).
Also also, I loved all the farmer's names for Pinkie Pie, my favorite one being 'Cheesecake". Oh, Farmer Brown, if you had ever gone onto the internet, you'd find out just how much Pinkie Pie cheesecake artwork is out there...
Finally, I laughed at the 'technicolor donkeys' line, although I almost want to slap him and say, they're too small to be donkeys!' But then he'd probably just call them burros or the like.
The animation is great, though you can tell the person responsible for this video is not very involved with the show.
More importantly, that overgrown monkey just spat on Fluttershy! Some things you just don't do, and THAT is certainly such thing. I say we send him to the Moon, its the only way to be sure.

And the animation is awesome! The voices are pretty dead on (save maybe for Applejack's her's is just a little off) and the animation has a great bouncy quality to it (especially in the case of Pinkie, which is quite appropriate).
A bit overly animated, but overall fantastic. The jokes were good and the characterizations were spot on considering it apparently wasn't done by a fan.
I laughed at the well-washed window joke more than anything. If only I could find a pegasus recovering on the ground the next time I hear something slam into my window, instead of another dead bird. Although the detailed dust silhouette one left behind was kinda funny, since that bird flew away.
The animation is kind of... wibbly wobbly. Not terrible, but way too much movement. Too much so, kept bothering me throughout. However the writing and VOs were good.
Oh Farmer Brown, I'd be surprised if they let you into the Hospital with that shotgun. +1 for cartoon logic.
Ha ha, this is fabulous! And I see no one has pointed out what I consider to be one of the best lines in there: "Oh! And he has this big blue tractor, too! I've seen him racing around the yard in it at about two and a half miles per hour - SO INTENSE!"

Hey, this was probably the best fan animation yet. Like everyone said, the animation was a bit odd at times, but even so, the fluidity of it is much better than most. Also it was good to hear something with original lines rather than just sound clips from the show.
One of the best and funniest animation shorts I have seen to date....and the ending was hilarious, nice refrence to the Looney Tunes! I love this fandom....

I wasn't sure whether to be horrified, laugh, scream, or be impressed by the ridiculously GOOD voice acting and animation. However, the ending decided for me; I laughed and I laughed hard ^_^ Poor AJ; I'm glad that earth ponies seem to be nigh indestructible. Great work on everything.

At first I laughed then when I heard that gun go off my heart dropped. But to see applejack with a blackened face and her mane blown back I was joining in with Twi,Pinkie and Fluttershy laughing.
All these comments about the animation. I myself commented that there's more overlapping action (animation term--google it) in that short than an entire episode of the actual show (maybe not that much of an exaggeration).
But it seems that nobody looked really hard at the animators' YouTube profile.
These guys didn't use Flash...
...they've been using Anime Studio Debut. A program you can buy for under $50, without even trying hard. And made that caliber of animation with it.
Now you can say "mind=blown". I wonder what the show's animators are thinking if they became aware of that while watching this.
