Now 200 years since, a tribal Seapony on an errand has a chance encounter that would lead to the changing of the Oceanic Wasteland forever.

Luckily, the wasteland offers a new kind of job, with guns.

Many ponies lived in the bitter cold of the arctic north trying to survive around the Shattered city. Even though creatures and the occasional raider attack towns, it’s much more peaceful that the razed lands of Equestria to the south.
Even though most Mega-Spells hit Equestria, some missed their intended targets and landed in the frozen lands of the arctic north. Once these Mega-Spells activated, the arctic north was forever changed to a wasteland… And that wasteland became known as the Frozen Wasteland.
It is here that a organization seeks to repeat the destruction that was wrought the day of the end of the world. And it is for that reason that they capture a Unicorn that had no idea of her destiny. A pony that was quickly captured and made to forget her past as well as her identity. A pony that may very well be the last hope of stopping the world from ending once more.
This is the tale of Subject 42.

La vita fu quasi del tutto cancellata via dal mondo. Una grande pulizia; la scintilla magica negli zoccoli dei pony rapidamente infuriò fuori controllo. Megaincantesimi piovvero dal cielo. Intere nazioni vennero divorate dalle fiamme e vennero inghiottite dagli oceani ribollenti. I pony furono quasi estinti, i loro spiriti divennero parte della radiazione ambientale che permeò la terra. Una quieta oscurità scese sul mondo…

And the language translations are for people who English is not their primary language. They browse EqD but would have an easier time reading the stories in their own language. The team behind the Russian translation has down an amazing job in helping people read Fallout: Equestria.
Just finished the first chapter of 'Murky Number Seven' and it was great. I am waiting for baited breath for more. With regular updates, I think it could rank up there with Project Horizons and Pink Eyes.

ReplyDeleteAfter having a chat with the wonderful folks in the Community Document I've decided to do just that. You aren't the first to request it, so as of Chapter 3 in two weeks time, Murky Number Seven will begin to update on FiMFic at the same time as on GDocs. (Although GDocs will still remain the primary "hub" for all activity.)
Chapter 5 of Broken Bonds just got released.

ReplyDeleteTo Xenith? I wrote the chapter a little while ago, but I believe that it was a small nod to the incredibly bizarre scenes that were the flight fetishes. Primarily it was just to highlight Brim's attitude. He hates pegasi and he hates zebras. Xenith's wing fetishes were a handy mid-ground to use for a comparison.
I've been a little lax here, but thanks to everyone commenting for and reading Murky Number Seven. I've been a little taken aback by how complimentary people have been here and on my tumblr so...thank you! Stuff like that (As well as the awesome folks who offer kind critique) is what makes me want to keep going.
@FuzzyActually there's another side story, not real big or long right now, but it's about a zebra that had wings grafted on and was put in stasis. FO:E World in Pain is what it's called. It's the first thing I thought of. Confusion on my part.

Yeah, the reason being is that most of these stories have their own editing groups. Also, we tend to produce enough stories that they would overwhelm the Equestria: Daily pre-readers, which is not good for other authors.

@Arcane Scroll Well, I was trying to make a fusion between Falout Equestria and the original Fallout, having humans and ponies altogether. Besides, it has things and items from Fallout, like the Littlepip (A homage to the main character from Fallout Equestria and the Pipboy), radroaches (Enemies from Fallout) and the Stable Vaults (Vaults from Fallout and Stables from Fallout Equestria). Or it's just that it's considered a postapocaliptic fanfic with few things taken from Fallout and Fallout Equestria? Because then I'll just delete it because that's not what I wanted to write,

ReplyDeleteNow, for anyone looking for some good stories here, I would recommend Warring Factions and Hightide. Both have some surface errors, but Warring Factions really picks up in the latter chapters, and Hightide has an interesting premise and a lot of potential.
