oh i love this story, the ending could have been more romantic or something, but it's great anyways!

Why are you blaming Seth for the best pony remark? Stuff written under "Additional tags" comes from the author when submitting the story.
Stuff under "labels" is what comes from Seth.
I think a lot of people aren't aware of this.

Interesting. This fic had all the build-up for it, but ended just as you would expect a friend-shipping tag to end. Very anti-climactic
Read this on ff.net a while back. Its a good fic filled with care and suffering.
Spoiler Alert: It ends in a less than shippy way. I.E, not a full-blown pairing.

I would like to point out that this was written BEFORE sisterhooves social was made and no information had been given on Rarity's parents and where Sweetie Belle lives. On the topic of the fic I'm still very new to fanfiction (having an understandably negative and fearful view of it after some....intresting examples) and had mostly just clung to Allegrezza and tried hard to stay away from anything with shipping in grimdark in it but I have to say this was a good story with my only complaint being that it had a good 8 chapters of a build with a....more then disappointing ending.Of course this is my opinion and it will obviously differ from others opinion.

Should be interesting... Still, seems like the idea was taken from Knights of Equestria, where there's minor RariMac shipping that seems similar to this. Still, I haven't read this, and I read EVERY shipping story that comes out, so I hope I get to eat my words later, because I'm HUNGRY!

This was...cute. I liked it.
Your final author's notes were rather appropriate. It's a nice, succinct story. Wrapped up in a neat little package.
I'd like to see where this proceeds in this universe, I like how you gave this shipping a subtle nudge over eight chapters, you can fill a lot of pages with what you can still dicuss.
Though I guess that means you'd have to pretty much ignore Sisterhooves Social, unless you rewrote Rarity's story here.

Might give this a read later on, looks somewhat promising.
It was rather well written. I initially expected, from the shipping tag, to see Rarity and Big Machintosh end up in a relationship--the only pairing with Big Mac that I don't disapprove of, in fact.
While that didn't happen, what did happen felt nice and satisfactory, and I'm not about to blame the author for the issues canon caused with the backstory for Rarity's parents, since Sisterhoove Special premiered after it was done, after all.

It was a great read, though didn't seem quite worthy of the shipping tag. Lightshipping or friendshipping maybe, but they didn't even date or anything, and the relationship is only SLIGHTLY hinted at beginning. Since it hasn't started by the end of the fic, I feel just a little jyped by the semi-misleading tag, but the author has a chance to make it up, since they said they might return to it later. (YOU'D BETTER!!!)

Great story. First fanfiction I've read so far. Great chick-novelish social feel plus pseudo-medico feel gets me every time. Love it love it.
I liked this a lot, especially how the shipping wasn't right up in your face like it is in most fics. It was nice, subtle, but there. Very sweet!

I really enjoyed this, and I'm glad to hear it will be continued! I took a good two-and-a-half hours to sit down and read it from begining to end. Well worth the comitment!
