I really hate having to wait until Sunday morning to get my episodes and coming in late on every single meme that pops up from them. T^T (not to mention avoiding the entire internet to avoid spoilers)
So excited! I try not to play pony favorites (hence my name; hey, I thought it was clever and/or ironic!), but Rarity is definitely one of the ponies I enjoy seeing. I love her dramatics. Her character shows, imo, that not all drama queens are selfish people: While she has her selfish moments (don't we all?), she truly embodies her element of generosity. Plus, she's both stereotypically "girly" and strong-willed. She has her own career, plus she can handle herself (those poor diamond dogs).
I suppose I relate to her a lot, and I know I'm not the only one. I can hardly wait to see what adventures await in the new episode. :)

Ah, it seems like Rarity is really taking the spot light this time around in second season. I saw like what? 15 Rarity (as main character) episodes or something since the first season?
Something tells me something epic is going to happen that Rarity would play a big part in some upcoming epic episode. Because why would the story writers show Rarity's character development slowly changing into something great?
Overall, I see lots of Rarity and Rainbow Dash (as the main spotlight) in the FiM episodes lately. Hmm...

I hope they have Pinkie Pie be the main secondary character in this episode. Rarity has shared the spotlight with every other member of the mane six, so this would be a great place for them to finish the cycle, so to speak.
I'm wondering if we'll see the return of some ponies from previous episodes. Hoity Toity would be a natural to make an appearance I would think, and maybe some of the other celebrity ponies might make a cameo too.
I just wish that the clock would move a bit faster is all, sigh.

Too bad Dish Network's two-month free preview for the Hub just ended. It was nice to be able to watch episodes on the actual channel. Annoying how you have to upgrade your entire programming package just to get one specific station.

Well, given that we're in for the bog-standard new-'friends'-who-are-phonies versus real-friends plotline, my guess is that her breakdown will be in the key of "They're Just Jealous". Add in a "Someday, I'll make it on my own and do it honestly" Friendship Report and a Derpy Hooves sighting at the fashion show and we've got ourselves an episode.

In other news: Ponies! But seriously, it would have been nice if they staggered the Rarity and Rainbow Dash episodes with some of the other mane cast. And I want more of the shy back in Fluttershy. Her badass levels have outshone her demure nature.

Does anyone else feel that the episode kind of sounds like, for lack of a better term, Filler? Hopefully, they will throw a few curve balls at us, but from what we know of it...yeah.

This show can't have filler episodes, it doesn't have a serial plot.
For once I have no guessing games to play regarding the plot as I have no idea how this is going to play out and I am looking forward to sitting back and just watching it for what it is.
The blurb for the episode has me interested too as it seems a rather adult story line - by that I mean that kids don't have to choose between their social life and building business / networking contacts, so are not going to have to face those sort of situations until they hit their 20s. This is a good thing, I think people should start teaching kids sooner rather than later how it is going to be in the real adult world they are going to be facing one day.

I would've said the same thing about "May the Best Pet Win," but that episode was great (if you didn't like it, can't help you there). The writers are able to make plots that sound lame be awesome in practice, so I'd remain optimistic.

PS I'll try posting this again! I'm 33 and if Rarity DOES have to face that situation as I am reading into it, then I want to see how she balances the outcome, I might learn something!
