I like refreshing and watching the poll results climb by dozens every refresh. I voted a couple times, but then I switched to Thundercats because they deserve third place after Transformers and MLP.

Come on guys. I expect that ~90% of you are like me, an older fan which wouldn't give this franchise the time of day if it weren't for the 4th gen show. This poll is about the TOY LINE, which is markedly different. The complaints about the toys from this crowd are abound and, even though I don't care for the toys, admit their quality is pathetic. There are some very good toys in this poll; vote honestly and let's not be dicks about this and crash the poll. I distinctly remember Transformers toys being ingenious growing up, that's where my vote went.

technically, it's asking who would win in a fight. And seeing as MLP has a pair of Goddess level entities that can literally control the rise and fall of the sun and moon, I think they have something over some robots that can be beat up by Shia Lebouf

How exactly does unicorn magic work on transformers? That's my only argument lol. I doubt pegasi could fight any transformers, and earth ponies would just be fodder. Objectively speaking, we'd have to assume that unicorn magic is strong enough to fight a fully autonomous robotic race
But on a more serious note, my thoughts on a VS. battle
If they're talking about how we played with them, then G.I. Joe would win for me. A skillfully passed Conscription Bill allowed me to draft my cousin's Barbie Horde as huge waves of cannon fodder.
Though MLP seems to have been the most effective when dealing with their enemies. Most, if not all, of the others just fought, ran away, fought again, etc. MLP actually had somewhat permanent solutions.
So...it's a toss up.

@Mannybad Celestia can *raise the freaking sun*. Are you aware of the magnitude of force required to perform such a feat? a=F/m; our sun, Sol, weighs 1.98892 * 10^30 kg. Forces that accelerate massive objects like a sun would crush a puny robot into tiny baby pieces.
Ponies have power on a far greater magnitude than any of the other options. GI Joe? TMNT? He-Man? All great shows, but Luna and Celestia are godprincesses that control the sun and moon. There's not much you can do against that.
lemme put it plain and simple, this is a toy SITE... but the poll is NOT asking about the toys, it's asking WHO WOULD WIN IN A BATTLE. Even if Celestia didn't just banish them all into the moon (where they landed in the first place), i still think that the ponies would kick some MAJOR Transformer tail in a fight... think about it...
Twilight Sparkle is capable if lifting a FULL water tower with her magic, as well as spontaneous teleportation... there's no telling what her magic could do to a Transformer's electrical systems...
Pinkie Pie has her Pinkie Sense and uncanny ability to break the 4th wall (or possibly ignore the laws of physics in the real world)
Rainbow Dash can break the sound barrier, single-hoofedly destroy a large structure weighing many tons by flying THROUGH the walls and roof, tearing through rafters and support beams with her teeth and kicking, AND create tactical explosions with her Sonic Rainbomb...
Applejack can buck a tree so hard it drops its fruit... and before you discount this ability, think about how hard YOU would have to hit a full grown tree to cause it to drop most of its fruit... that's probably something like the force of a car hitting the tree...
As for Fluttershy and Rarity.... i dont think, charm, wit, or an animal stare would do much... but i'm sure the ability to fly and use basic magic would be enough to support Dash and Twilight Sparkle.
But if you just ignore all the individual abilities you STILL have the Elements of Harmony to account for... and if one use of the Elements can turn a villain to stone and restore order to the entire Equestrian civilization, i'd like to see what it does to a Transformer...

Ok, hang on, I have to appeal to reason here. Just hear me out. Now, we're talking about *toys*, right? As far as *toys* go, My Little Pony is just okay. There's a truck, and a carousel, and you can brush their hair. But cars and trucks and jets that seamlessly transform into giant @#%!ing robots? That's ^#$%ing boss! I'm not saying the tv show for any toy on that list could top ponies, but as far as toys themselves go, Transformers are tough to beat.

This is one of the things that actually drives me to a facepalm about this fandom. I've been a brony for six months, been following the show since I saw repeat of Dragonshy. What we should be about is love, tolerance and fun and all that.
What we're not supposed to do is crash polls and banner-trents with zerg rush just to turn them into our favour. Sorry, but no, I'm a brony, and I refuse to take part in the 4chan-esque raids to force conversion to bronyhood. It's immature and beneath ALL of us to just turn things in our favour just because it's there.
This is immature and volatile behaviour, and we can do better than this. I'm disappointed in seeing EqD turning slowly but surely into a bleak reminder of what the masses hate about the internet.

@Byakuryuu If it was a serious poll doing research on a topic, then I'd have agreed with you since an EqD post would've skewed the results in our favour.
However, this is just a "Who would win" poll. The results have absolutely no consequence (other than perhaps market research - and even then they'd probably know something was up) so, if anything, this is free advertising for ToyWiz.
I haven't heard of them before, so I might eventually check them out if I ever feel like buying ponies. Or Transformers for that matter.

It's afternoon for me, I have plenty of provisions (crisps and cheap cola) to spam this poll for hours to come.
I think spamming non serious polls with poni is perfectly fine from a moral standpoint. Morals on my internet? It's more likely than you think.
These polls are set up to find out what people on the INTERNET think. They want to know what the people of the net think, and the net clearly loves ponies. They are getting accurate results that will tell them that the internet has loads of bronies on it. Same as the hub found out from the naughty or nice poll.
We're winning. By a wide margin. And since testing confirms that voting again does not increase the totals (checked with some of the lower-ranking ones, and they didn't move) each of those votes is an individual person who went in the middle of the night.
If the poll was about the toy line, I'd have to vote transformers; the official MLP toys aren't all that great and transformers have always been best action figures. But the question is who would win in a fight. Deathbattle has already conclusively determined that Dash can take out Starscream, one of the most formidable Tansformers, one-on-one with little effort.
And honestly, Dash is one of the lower powered ponies when you look at Pinkie (high end reality warper), Fluttershy (involuntary epic level mind control), and Twilight (enough raw power to telekinetically crush a giant robot, and that's not even considering her creepier spells [like those that turn ponies into puppets, or want-it-need-it, or the come-to-life spell...]).
If the Princesses got involved, the ponies are throwing around literally deific power and the robots are just robots. There's just no contest.
