Seriously, this is the greatest thing ever, Luna aged! (presumably) and Twilight is wearing a wizard costume for halloween. Oh man I am so pumped, this episode is going to be amazing. I just- Gah! I can't get over how cool Luna looks now, I am fanboy-ing so hard.
Also: Oh come ON just spent hours carefully picking out colors for Luna's mane and carefully drilling holes into ebony (harder than it sounds, sorry bad pun) and using crappy superglue which is now all over my hands and now they Change the mane. Hmph.
The Great & Powerful Trixie: That's very flattering how you have chosen to dress as The Great and Powerful Trixie this year Sparkle. However I would like to remind you that The Great and Powerful Trixie currently does not sport a beard.

She also looks like she's aged way more than the ~1 year since her first appearance, which would be explained by her age being connected to her increasing magic levels.
