Hard to choose, they're all really good. It's going to take a while to pick a favorite.
Oh man, 7 is really great, although I'd love to see a variation where Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night was in NMM's mane. But it doesn't feel quite right to be a banner.
My next vote would have gone to 16 because LUNA KAIWAII DESU~! But that's already had its time as a banner.
So that leaves me stuck between 1 and 4. Coin flip time.

Oh boy, oh boy... some really darn good ones. It's so hard to choose just one. The ones that catch my interest the most are #1, 12, 14, 22, 28, 29, 30 and 33. But if I really -must- choose only one, I'm going to go with #22. Yes, I know, because it's Octavia. lol That's part of it, I won't lie. But I think it's also well-made too.

I'm honestly quite flattered with the love #15 has received. I always knew that the source material made for a (sadly) obscure reference, so I never expected it to compete in the voting, but it's nice that the people who love the film got a smile from the ponified nod.
I'm torn between 9, 16, 22 and 26.

UGH... this is HARD!
I'm undecided to whether I like 1, 14, or 26 the best. Decisions, decisions.
Okay, I'm just gonna go with 12 because it's fitting and it has Ditzy and Dinky in it. You can never go wrong with those two.
Man, terribly tough decision. It was a toss-up between #12 and #19, but I eventually went with #12. Just so perfect - very Halloweeny, but at the same time it retains the charm and light-heartedness of the show.
Specifically, #12 reminds me of Kanga and Roo from winnie the pooh.
My favorites were 7, 12, 19, 20, and 28. It was really hard to choose but in the end I voted for 20 because it has our Mane 6 + Spike, clean readable text, makes references directly to episodes, and is just fun and lighthearted like the show and the community as a whole :) Happy Halloween everypony.
The Soul Eater one is pretty cool, but I think they got it all wrong. Twilight would totally be Maka. Spike should be Soul. Rainbow Dash should, definately, be Black Star. Fluttershy should be Tsubaki. Rarity would be Death the Kid. That's just how it is. Pinkie would be the younger Thompson sister, and Applejack would be the older Thompson sister. Not trying to get down on the artist. It's a cool idea. I just think that those character placements would fill suit, a bit better.

They're all good, but the only spooky or semi-spooky one that grabs me is #7, and there's several cute/funny ones I like better. For me, it's a toss-up between #12 and #15, and since it looks like #12 is running away with the vote, I'm giving a bit more love to #15.

It's eerie and relevant to Nightmare Night.
You can't deny vampire Trixie. 23 all the way, bronies.
Though, I have to admit, I was really tempted by both 4 and 14. Both are very well done, and I feel that the subtle cupcakes-esque feel is perfect for Halloween; but seriously, nothing can beat vampire Trixie.
I was considering #3, but then I thought #12 was better.
Why? #3 is just using some layering art, text and some vectors. Not really a TON of work, unlike #12, which was HAND DRAWN... YOU KNOW; FROM SCRATCH. So I'm sorry #3, but #12 is just, overall, the better banner.
Couldn't decide between #28 or #29. So I actually had to take a closer look at them both. I ended up choosing #28.

12 has been my personal favorite though here are a lot of nice ones too. Sorry Luna 16 your too adorable for this contest. I will go with Derpy, can't go wrong with 12 it just has a certain level of charm and that Dinky in a pumpkin made me smile every time, reminded me of all the fun Holloweens me and my Mom had when I was young.
So imho 12 is the most fitting for the holiday, and ties in so well with the new episode too since Derpy and Dinky are now canon! =D
If 12 wins just because it's Derpy, I'd say put it in it's own place of honor and go with the next one, which I hope to be 20.

It was a toss up between #34, #14 and #7, but in the end I voted for #34 because of the split personality/shadow monster vibe I get from it, which I think is appropriate for EqD, unlike some of the others.
