the Rainbow Dash in this is really choppy. I hate to complain but the robot unicorn was reeeally smooth.

Ehh...still a couple bugs with it. Can't get my usual high scores of 100K+
I'd rather ponies jumping instead of dolphins to keep true to FiM, and a couple more frames to RD's movement to make it flow smoother. The harp that plays when holding down the second jump is a nice touch, don't recall original RUA doing that.
Its kinda buggy, but still pretty good.

This is awesome!!! I had no problems playing it, though I have to say it was a tad slow for me. That made the game a bit easier which, while not challenging enough, was also not frustrating, making it quite fun.
And it has Rainbow Dash in it, so I loved it.
1: I do not like character animation, in particular during the flight
2: should be the other sounds and particularly to "sonic-rainboom"
3: route could be built from the clouds, or with different things
4: idea of taking a second version of this game and add more characters

If I'm not mistaken, AS also made a heavy metal version of RUA. All that is needed is for the person who did this to mod that version the same way.

I dunno, I still think the original is better. With robot unicorn attack, it was kinda like... Kinda like exactly the same as with ponies! At first I thought "Damn, what is that gay shit???" But after playing it for a while, I totally loved it and still do. You just can't top the original, besides, the sound quality is a little poor. And the HARMONY HARMOY OHHHHH LOVE is very important.
Yes. Still, it's a pretty cool idea, I like it, I just like the original better.
Needs improvements and other things to make it stand out.

I tried playing it. When I heard the music I was like "Oh please". When I saw some environment with terrible combination of pink, I knew that I'll most likely leave this game soon. When I saw some poorly looking collectible fairies I was like "OH PLEASE!". When I hit the star, thinking that it's just a part of the background, and exploded in the process, I was like "No, seriously now...". When I realised that this game involves some impossible jumps at the very first level and died for the third time, I closed the game thinking "I bet someone can do it way better".
Sorry. Good idea, but execution requires a LOT of improvement.

Few flaws in it. The game should fit with Rainbow Dash's theme.
Music needs to be replaced.
Sound FX's could have their own way.
Instead of land terrain could use cloud terrain texture.
A new target for Dash to ram through.
Dolphins need to go or be replaced.
And a few teaks in the animation.
Besides that; I love playing this game.
This is awesome! A bit choppy, sure, and the transition to MLP elements could be more thorough, but it's a blast all the same!

There are a few bugs, one time I dashed into one of those pedestal like bumps by accident, and ended up falling through the ground.
Also, the 'life' counter in the upper left corner needs to be changed to Rainbow Dash, instead of the robot unicorn. Otherwise, that was awesome.

The fact that this is on e621 makes sense, but is quite scary at the same time, you know, being a mostly yiff site and all.
It might've been more neat if it was more modified (We've generally seen Robot Unicorn Attack already, needs a bigger twist maybe), and if it were less buggy. I fell through a solid object in the game and died'd.
There was this hilarious fan-theory that the Robot Unicorn is Rainbow Dash's father. (The robot part is actually a Darth Vader-like life support suit). I mean, a 6-colored mane like that just has to be hereditary.

e621 is not a porn site. It is a furry art archive. Yes, a lot of the content IS porn, but there is no rule, whatsoever, that every submission must be pornographic, cheesecake-y, questionable, or even furry.
e621 can actually be made 'safe' by creating an account, and placing the following text in your blacklist (located in my account, settings):

--the 'e' will stop all explicit artwwork from being displayed, and the 'q' will hide all questionable art (pinups, suggestive content, but no nudity or non-explicit nudity)

Thanks to everyone who liked this one, even if it was just a quick hack. I'm disappointed by the people complaining about the animation - it was good enough for the actual cartoon! (Well, the jump could have been better). @emil: there's no copy protection or encryption, you can find the hacked RBA and decompile it the same as I did. ;) I actually never did anything in flash before, so even this seemingly minor hack still took about 3 days, which was more than I had time to spend on it, but it was fun all the same. :)
For those asking for more - I just ran out of time. I did want the gameplay to stay true, though. The dolphins are the biggest crime of omission IMO, but I only used a demo of the flash compiler, so I can't do anything more anyway. I also found the way they assembled RUA's objects to be fairly complicated, but maybe that's normal for decompiled flash.
I didn't think about the high score stuff.. whoever originally released the flash left it in and I probably should have just deleted the buttons. I didn't think anyone would actually try to submit. :)

Rainbow Dash is extremely choppy, the game isn't designed for her shape so heights and jumps are all off balance. It's better to just gut the whole thing at this rate. If you want to just paste a RD in there without properly modifying it to her specs you should make a rainbow dash from scratch nearly identical to the robot unicorn.

Also, yes it's very glitchy and I get thrown underground more often than not. However, I find the music very catchy, although it would be excellent with some rock since it's The Dash and all X3.
