Am I the only one who feels like the essence of the originals is a bit lost in the noise of the eurobeat sound he puts in? The actual music that this is supposed to be a remix of is basically buried under the other synthesized sounds.

Finally. I thought this would've been one of the first ones he did.

Yes, you're the only one. :)
I kid, but I don't think it's so much "buried" as "elaborated".

I find nothing wrong with the tune. My main issue is that he uses exactly the same instrumentation in all of his work. So the essence is lost because it sounds exactly like every other song he's made, tempo beat and all.
Nice tune elaboration, but some variety would make me like this 100x more.

Catchy tune. Something that could be played in the background during game play.

... What? Listen to Evil Enchantress, CMC Theme, and Gotta Share. All totally different, and I think I'm still missign one (I think Giggle soudned different too, if only because of that overwhelming "vocal" part). To say they all soudn the same it so selectively listen to some of his music and say such.

While you make a good point, that's sort of one of the issues of the Eurobeat genre. While there ARE variations between the songs (if subtle), Eurobeat is often very dependent on that synth-brass, bass-on-the-upstroke arrangement at anywhere between 145 and 170 BPM.

In addition, I wanted this song to sort of encompass the sound of the rest of SPB Vol.1, so I used 'familiar' sounds on purpose as a unifying thread through the other pieces.

...that said, I do see your point about variety. Perhaps some experimentation is in order later down the line...?

@LordOfTheWrongs

Compare this one with the So Many Wonders mix. The original song is very clear and I would honestly say elaborated on.

The main theme remix sounds like it's been buried by comparison.
