Hasbro’s reorganization and Make Your Mark’s future.
    By: Alexander Bea

There are a few reasons why there are no new episodes of “Make Your Mark” announced for the next year. One reason is that Hasbro is selling eOne, which has resulted in a lot of reorganization that has likely delayed the production of new episodes. Additionally, “Tell Your Tale” has enough episodes to fill out the year or can make up for lost time due to it being a 2D production, so they may not be as affected by the reorganization as “Make Your Mark.”

However, there are a few reasons to be hopeful about the future of “Make Your Mark.” First, during a panel at Everfree Northwest 2023, “Make Your Mark” head writer GM Berrow said that they have an ending planned for the series. Second, according to the Key Stats section on the recent Licensing Magazine issue, “Make Your Mark” is a hit on Netflix. If you account for Chapter 5’s recent placement on the top 10 Kids TV charts in its first week, then it’s likely that Hasbro may take this information into consideration when deciding whether or not to renew the show.

Finally, it’s important to remember that Hasbro is turning MLP into a general all-ages lifestyle brand with new merch and fashion collabs. This suggests that they are committed to the My Little Pony franchise and that they are likely to continue producing new content for the franchise.

In conclusion, there are a few reasons why there are no new episodes of “Make Your Mark” announced for the next year. However, there are also a few reasons to be hopeful about the future of the show. It is possible that Hasbro will renew the show for another season and that new episodes will be released in the future.

MLP What If. . . Lyra and Bon Bon Were Straight
    By Double C

What made Friendship is Magic good is that there were multiple characters which are called background characters. The writers didn’t intended for them to be important to either the main characters or the story but fans have enjoyed them being there. As the show progress, the writers started to give them more personality of how they act and what they do for a living. Like with the main and supportive characters fans like to ship background characters with other background characters which the writers do. The most popular is between Lyra Heartstrings and Sweetie Drops (Bon Bon) that is called LyraBon. It started like others with the 2 being next to each other in season 1 than season 5 showed them being friends and season 9 made them a couple. But if things went differently with new pictures from derpibooru would have found a stallion of their chose.

For Lyra, she has been shipped with Noteworthy since Filli Vanilli. We know that Lyra is member of a choir so that where she would meet him. We don’t know what Noteworthy does for a living but his cutie mark indicates that he something to do with music. The two would make music with songs and instruments that would be beautiful.

For Bon Bon, she would be shipped with Donut Joe. Both run either own shops that specializes in sweet goods like Bon Bon makes candy and Joe makes donuts. Both would open a shop that sells candy, donuts, and other pastries while serving as spy agents. Though Pinkie made up of him being a spy but he could be just good at hiding it and that’s where he and Bon Bon met.

One thing that could ruined their friendship is if either one of them not liking their special someone. What real friends do is worry about is not seeing their friend getting hurt by their special someone who may only be with them for fun. But by having double dates instead of spying would help strength trust with the exception of threating the other if they hurt their friend.

Opaline Gives Herself Impossible Standards; It’s Why She’s Failing
    By: Grace

No matter how confident in her abilities she may seem, Opaline holds herself up to these impossible standards and it clearly contradicts with the way she presents herself to be on the outside. Opaline thinks that to live up to her elemental ability of being the greatest and most powerful alicorn in Equestrian history. However, this is just an accomplishable standard to live up to. After all of these years, Opaline has gotten out of shape and has lost touch with most of herself because she focuses so much of her energy on scheming in her castle. For almost everyone, there will always be someone out there who is or was better than you at whatever you do, which is why humility is such an important quality to exercise. Being cocky and full of yourself doesn’t get you anywhere, it actually makes you not put as much effort in because you feel too confident in your abilities. Besides that, Opaline thinks she needs to appear and act perfect, and a lot of her own self worth comes from belittling Misty which gives Opaline a quick boost of confidence. What Opaline needs to do is take a step back and do an examination of her life. Even though she’s evil, there is a better way she could be executing her plans to move closer to her goals and to make something of herself.

    Hitch and Sparky’s Relationship
    By: Grace

The idea of a dragon being adopted by ponies has been an ongoing thing for over a decade, and that line is far from being broken with G5’s Sparky Sparkeroni. With Twilight, Spike was her number one assistant and closest friend, practically another brother. To Hitch, Sparky is almost like his child. He disciplines but cares deeply for the baby dragon. We’ve clearly seen what happens to Hitch when his precious baby dragon is taken away from him. Between Operation Glitterbomb and Misty stealing Sparky for Opaline, Hitch has shown sides of himself that are not shown on a normal basis. The only two that he has ever really freaked out about being in trouble were Sunny and Sparky, which is cute because it shows how much he cares, but may or may not be a tad overboard. Sparky is certainly a hoof full, but in the end is pretty manageable (if you follow the strict schedule Hitch made up for him).
