So introduce yourself, what's your name, when did you join EQD, what do you do?
H: Name's
Hypermark, Hyper for short. It's a conblobulation of HyperText Markup
Language. I don't exactly know when I joined because I've been added to
and removed from the blog a few times, but it's somewhere around mid
2013.
I make websites, both what you see and
what you don't see. I'm the derp responsible for making EQD Music, which
I'm currently making a new, not as bug-filled, properly working version
in my spare time. I've also made the new game index, and hope to remake
other indexes on the site as well as a couple web apps that help manage
the blog. Outside of horses, I have a job making websites for various
companies.
What's the best thing about working for EQD and what do you do in your spare time?
H: The
best thing about working for EQD is the friends. Everyone is nice and
willing to help if you get in some sort of trouble. Perks at cons don't
hurt either. In my spare time I like to play video games and browse
Reddit. If I had the time, I'd tinker with circuit boards, build home
automation things, work on cars, fly, travel the world, camp, and play
more games.
What's your favourite episode and whose your fave pony?
H: I
can't pick a favourite episode, but I like the first 2 seasons the
most. My favourite pony is definitely Fluttershy, she's too adorable.
I'd like to see more Coco Pommel in the show.
Do you think EQD helps the fandom?
H: To
answer this accurately, I traversed the dimensional plane to a universe
without EQD and found the fandom died completely after season 2. The
show still had season 5 confirmed, as well as Half Life 3. To answer
this seriously, I think so, but I don't know for sure, as I have no
comparable data point.
Is Seth really as crazy to work with as everyone thinks?
H: Seth
isn't crazy: he's fearless; and unreserved. He's not afraid to be
himself, and will say whatever's on his mind. He's not careless, though.
If he thinks something will seriously offend present company he won't
say it. Seth is a careful nutbag, to put it shortly, and I wouldn't have
him any other way.
