In the picture You can see Octavia onboard Airbus A321 performing her Soaring Monody. It's a work in progress, you know. Very high-pitched. So far it goes a little something like "AAAAAAAAAAAAA!!". By the way, the wing outside is about 16 meters long, and the altitude is about 11 km above sea level, which makes it already a lower range of the stratosphere, with temperature outside around -50 degrees Celsius. Surprisingly, stratosphere is not sterile. Samples from 40km above sea level still contain dust with living bacteria onboard.

Elevation: 14,265 feet. Despite being less than 150 feet above the road, getting to the summit is no easy feat for people unaccustomed to the high altitude. Of the six people in our party, only two of us made the summit. The rest were suffering altitude sickness too severely to make the climb (think panting, fatigue, light-headedness, blue nails and blue lips). Even us two that made it were clearly affected, as we began down the wrong trail from the top and had to double back! Twilight, being a magical unicorn pony, had no such problems.

Fun fact the Vatican is actually its own country, called the Holy See founded in 1929 to try to remove Mussolini's fascist government from Catholic influence and the Catholic Church from Mussolini's influence. Also all the Catholic churches in Rome are also a part of the Holy See so when you step into one, you are officially no longer in Italy.
