    Tara Strong at Phoenix Comic Con

    So it was announced that Tara Strong will being showing up at the Phoenix Comic Con. http://www.phoenixcomicon.com/guests/category/anime  Half way down the page it shows her bio information.  I am glad it doesn't just focus on her My Little Pony contribution as she has done a lot of different roles.  For those who live in the Phoenix area, this may be the incentive to go and support the local comic con.

    BRONY-FEST CONVENTION ANNOUNCED FOR MARCH 2013 IN DFW, TEXAS



    Dallas Area’s First Three Day MLP Fan Event

    Brony-Fest; the first 3 day brony convention in the Dallas area of Texas is planned for March 29, 30, & 31st 2013. The convention is located at the Hilton Garden Inn & Convention Center in Lewisville, TX.

    Brony-Fest is featuring vendor/artist booths, panels, gaming, masquerade, dance with well known Texas DJs, and more! The event is going to host guest celebrities from MLP as well as some guests from the fandom community. Guests include actor MATT HILL the MLP voice of Soarin and MLP audio mixer Rich Arons.

    Brony Beach Minicon - Accepting artists, Vendors, Panelists.

    We have set up two forms for attendees to submit their ideas for an artist/vendor table and to submit panel ideas for Brony Beach Minicon 2013!

    Both forms can be found under the "Registration" tab of our website (link below) and take only a few minutes to complete. We will accept any and all submissions until May 12, 2013. All accepted panels and artists/vendors will be contacted at this time, and all submissions will receive a response that we have received their submission within 3-5 days after completing the form.

    BassClef is an 18 year old EDM producer from Apex, NC. He has been into music since an early age picking up guitar at 12. After becoming part of the brony fandom in late 2011 and discovering producers such as Alex S and EuroBeat Brony he was driven to produce his own music for the fandom ranging from Dubstep to Drum and Bass and even Electro House.

    Sac Brony Expo Kickstarter Funded and More

    KickStarter Funded!

    Surprise! We have reached our original goal of $2000 and have actually surpassed it, with $2437 dollars! We definitely have to give a round of applause to the 43 people who have donated to our cause! We couldn’t have made it without your help. Of course, we also have to thank our media outlets for getting the word out to everyone. You have all been a great help. A majority of the funds will go directly to Sacramento State University to pay off our venue, and the remaining money will go to convention essentials, including the KickStarter Donation Prizes. We still plan on doing additional fundraisers to get other convention necessities paid for.

    Sac Brony Expo will be appearing live on Good Day Sacramento at 8:00 AM, Saturday, March 30th! They air on the CW, so check us out, as we will be discussing more in depth about the convention and what we’re working towards!

    Pre-Registration Opening Soon!

    Now that the KickStarter is over, we are going to have presales for convention attendees and vendors opening up soon! Prices will be announced as soon as possible, but as a community based con, we will make sure they are reasonable enough for everyone to attend! Along with that, registration for panels, presentations, and other things will be up and running with the beginning of the pre-registration period. We will have a set of guidelines posted as well, to make sure we provide the best of entertainment for all attendees.

    Position Openings!

    We still have positions open for anybody who wants to work with us! If you want to apply, just email us what you’re applying for along with a resumé relevant to the position. If there are any additional questions about the positions, you can also email us and the link is right below.

    - Event Supervisor
    This person is responsible for making sure the convention events, panels, and presentations are properly scheduled. The person will overlook said events and their staff during the day of the con to ensure smooth sailing.

    - Vendor Supervisor
    The person will be responsible for keeping in touch with vendors and enforcing the rules of the artists alley.

    -Guest Relations
    This person will be in charge of replying to emails sent to the convention as well as communicating with guests.
