    6. This is so sad! Applejack is alive with no of her original friends, other than Twilight, and Spikes friends are all dead, too! Applejack's gonna die while he sleeps, and then in 100 years, it's... it's.... awwwwww.....

Obviously, in Equestria you can. Twilight wasn't always immortal; Celestia must've made her that way. She could easily do the same for her friends. There are spells for everything.

    8. Fools! This is not how it ends!

      *Ahem*
It's a little girls cartoon. Therefore happy endings will always manifest.

In the real show, if they were to deal with the future, all that would happen Is that the writers would simply make it so Celestia makes Twi and her friends immortal, to continue their study of the magic and friendship, and to spread this magic around the world.
The end, that's all folks, now Vamoose.

    9. This is the first time in about 3 years that I ever shed a tear to a story.

...if this infringes on my manliness, shit gets real.

    10. This reminds of Nall's plight in Lunar: Eternal Blue.

    11. It's always fascinating that most fantasy themed stories, take Lord of the Rings and Last Unicorn for example, center mortality and vanitas so much.

That's why I find them so damn sad.

    12. A great, bittersweet story, even if it did need some editing ;)

    16. Dang, this was...bittersweet. A great concept, with only a few grammatical mistakes that didn't really bother me much. Plus, the last few lines were simply perfect. This definitely goes into my top 5 favorite FiM fics.

Hmmm, I wonder if Equestria has an afterlife...

    19. Theres a sequel to this fic now, but its a bit more explicit. Its still, a fantastic read though. Called 'Our Last Goodbye' by RagingSemi for those interested.

If you really think that would be better, think about what Rarity and AJ would go through, watching their younger sisters age and die while they stayed the same. Or Pinkie Pie burying the Cakes while she's just as young as ever. Or Twilight's tearful goodbye to Spike after a thousand years, while she's still the same unicorn who saved Luna those thousand years ago.

And I just made myself sad.

So where would one find this sequel?
It's not on Ponyfictionarchive or Fimfiction. Can't find with search either.
