Over the past two years, our fandom has had the chance to get to know an amazing young woman. Beautifully talented artist. And quite literally the life of any party she is ever in. Especially if it involves a party in the green room, an ample supply of fireball, and Peter New.
I am of course talking about Jenn Blake.
A little under a month ago, the world found out that she's battling Brain Cancer. In that time, I have been astounded by the sheer generosity of this community. In less than a day, we obliterated her initial treatment goal. In under a month, we've almost reached her second goal for her treatment.
Today, we celebrate the end of her My Little Pony Comic Career. The 1:10 Retailer Incentive Cover for this comic will be the last IDW MLP Comic Cover she does. And I can think of no better way to celebrate than by buying her variant cover, tweeting a picture of it to her, and wishing her good luck with her future.
