Check on after the break for the full presser and find out how you can join in on the fun!

It's International Dog Biscuit Day, and we've got one howling good announcement! The soothing sound of music can calm the savage beast, or in this case, timberwolf. Amy Keating Rogers is here to teach us all about the bond between dog and pony. The sweet sound of a ukulele isn't the only thing that Amy Keating Rogers is known for, though. She wrote "A Dog and Pony Show" along with many other beloved episodes! She'll be joining us in Seaddle at EFNW 2016, too! No dog biscuits required!

Amy Keating Rogers was born and raised in Los Angeles, where she received her B.A. from Occidental College and her M.F.A. from CALARTS/California Institute of the Arts. She continued to hone her craft in writing at the Padua Hills Playwrights’ Workshop and UCLA.

When her critically acclaimed play, The Stuff, premiered in Hollywood, Craig McCracken, creator of THE POWERPUFF GIRLS, approached Amy about writing for POWERPUFF. After freelancing for THE POWERPUFF GIRLS for 6 months, she was promoted to Head Writer of the show. Amy continued writing for the GIRLS through their run at Cartoon Network and was nominated for 4 Emmys for THE POWERPUFF GIRLS during that period.
Amy also wrote on the Emmy-award winning SAMURAI JACK, FOSTER’S HOME FOR IMAGINARY FRIENDS, and new seasons of DEXTER’S LABORATORY and JOHNNY BRAVO. In addition she wrote on THE POWERPUFF GIRLS MOVIE, THE POWERPUFF GIRLS ‘TWAS THE FIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS holiday special, and the DEXTER’S LABORATORY EGO TRIP special. After leaving Cartoon Network, Amy wrote for many animated series: DANNY PHANTOM, THE FAIRLY ODDPARENTS, PAW PATROL, BEN 10: OMNIVERSE. She was also the Story Editor for CARE BEARS: WELCOME TO CARE-A-LOT  and CARE BEARS AND COUSINS.

Most notably, Amy wrote or co-wrote seventeen episodes for MY LITTLE PONY: FRIENDSHIP IS MAGIC, including fan favorites like: "The Best Night Ever", "Pinkie Pride", "The Mane Attraction", and "Crusaders of the Lost Mark". She also wrote a lot of the song lyrics featured in those same episodes.
Amy is currently the Story Supervisor for the New IP Team with Disney Publishing Worldwide, and lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Aaron, and their two children, Moira and Soren.
