• BronyCon announces Rebecca Shoichet, Opens Swag Shop


    The biggest brony convention in the world keeps adding on guests as the big continues to approach with the announcement of Rebecca Shoichet. Best known as Sunset Shimmer and Twilight Sparkle's singing voice among other roles, she is sure to rock out in Baltimore with all those brony fans. Not only that, they've opened up a shop that attendees can buy some neat goodies from.

    BronyCon is hoping you shimmer in the sunset with our announcement of Rebecca Shoichet, adding another voice actor to the ever growing guest roster.

    Shoichet is best known to My Little Pony fans as the speaking voice of Sunset Shimmer and the singing voice of Twilight Sparkle in “My Little Pony: Equestria Girls.” She is an accomplished singer and actor, with roles both on stage and television.

    Shoichet has voiced for the following series: Sota, Eri, Souten and Enju in “InuYasha,” Mrs. Darling in “The New Adventures of Peter Pan,” Abigail Brand in “Astonishing X-Men,” Nana Osaki in “NANA,” Yuki in “Star Ocean EX,” and Dita and Minase in “Starship Operators,” among others.

    In addition to bolstering our extensive guest list, BronyCon is proud to announce the official launch of our Swag Shop. Located at swag.bronycon.org, the new Web shop will allow attendees to pre-order Convention Store merchandise. No more waiting in long lines in hopes of nabbing a plushie or shirtpre-order and your item is guaranteed. Please note that all pre-orders must be picked up at the convention. BronyCon will not ship items pre-ordered at the Swag Shop.
