It was a pretty typical pony parody. It was actually pretty accurate, tho. Tara Strong was great in her role as "Twilight". The "GO BRONIES" cake was a nice touch. And Pinkie Pie may have broken the 4th wall...
That was beautiful. I laughed more at the going to France joke more than the rest of the segment, but it was still great.
Hehe. They completely train wrecked our favorite ponies...and I was laughing my a** off the whole time! Say what you will, but I thought it was pretty funny. It's MAD for crying out loud. Of course they were going to do something crazy with the ponies.
As it is (even as a parody), a little more exposure can't be too bad. And it was a pretty significant segment for a 12 or so show.
I loved it!!! MAD totally supports bronies. It's gonna come back later and I'm gonna watch it because I couldn't hear it.

Pinkie was Pinkie. Fluttershy was played as the opposite of Fluttershy for effect. It wasn't going to be another episode. I thought it was great.
I think some people just expected too much. I was not disappointed.

I didn't laugh once. And I usually find MAD TV amusing. The shout-out was nice, but I didn't think any of the jokes were that clever.
I wish the skit would have focused more on Twilight considering they had her real VA. Pinkie was just a tone too high, putting her close to the "my ears are bleeding!" territory. Also I know it was supposed to be a spoof of War Horse, but the video was a bit hard to follow, and the jokes were a little flat.
That was bad.

It was funny... put MAD sorta of used copyright infringement when they used Applejack... Applejack is Hasbro's name for the ponies.
Man, I saw this, turned on my TV, and saw MAD was about to start, so I stopped what I was doing to watch. Only after 11 minutes of it did I realize that it was an old one, and that it actually airs several hours from now. Talk about a time waster.
to the haters....why? it was a parody, and i mean, they actually got Tara Strong to voice act, thats called brony respect, and the "GO BRONIES" cake was amazing. that was funny and, after all was a parody. and its mad, after all.

It was just ok. I don't understand the hostility towards it though, just the fact they're doing a parody of MLP and they used an actual VA from the show should buy them some goodwill.
I'm frustrated that they keep mashing up MLP with some totally unrelated movie plus those weird cutout human faces.
I remember when MAD TV (the one that was on FOX) use to do a Powerslut Girls short and it was hilarious, that's what they should do with MLP if they intent to keep parodying it.

It sounds like Tara was also doing the voice for Pinkie, using a lower pitched version of her Bubbles voice, though I could be wrong.

That's...pretty egotistical, considering. They just parody whatever, I doubt they were trying to grab our community in any way.
Just thinking to myself how last year we'd be all excited that we were even getting exposure. Now it feels like MAD is desperately trying to ride OUR coattails. It could just be that MAD always has that air of "somebody please think we're relevant" desperation.

Why is everyone hating on what MAD does best... the irony of the statement lies in the name. They aren't supposed to know everything about it, plus if you are complaining about them not using the same looks for each pony, it's called copyright infringement. No com'pony' wants that against themselves. Anyway, I did really find it boring, just European. I did smile a few times, but the real enjoyable parts were the non-pony things.
Also, I seems like Dash breaking something is canon everywhere. Oh well, she really needs a medic at her disposal.

Actually putting ponies on anything has now been proven to make it more awesome. Otherwise this skit would contain 0% awesomeness. The ponies helped raise that to 20% +/- .

It was okay. I liked the references it had like Captain America and Tin Tin showing up was kinda out there. Tara Strong did a solid job as usual. It was a nice shoutout with the cake.

I watch MAD off and on pretty much every week, same with Adventure Time and Regular Show.
It's a parody show, and they've featured stuff a lot more frequently than ponies. This wasn't anything special, it was just another parody. They probably don't give 2 craps about us when they get ratings anyway, and thinking otherwise is pretty conceited. No offense.

I think this was the first time since 2007 I ever turned on CN and actually watched something on that channel. The skit was great! Loved the shout-out to us and the animation was good. I am sure CN's ratings really spiked for the first 5 minutes of the show, but after the skit, the ratings are back in the toilet where they should be since CN's management is stupid and brainless.

Also, remember, CN is where Lauren Faust got Popular. with powerpuff girls (given it was her husband who did a good handful of the work) and Fosters was amazing. tara strong is also no stranger to CN. she did voices for PPG, Teen Titans, and even Johnny Test. so i liked it, and if that makes me conceded, then thats what i am.

I'm not too worried though, Cartoon Network adores Adventure Time, and they market the hell out of it.
Walking to France, "what's a movie?", and not boring but European Tin-Tin, were the only parts I found humorous.

Personally I think that was a little meh, but it wasn't bad for MadTV. I did enjoy the joke about World War I not being called the Great War.
It was good, I think. I happen to think not having direct copies of the characters was better, and the whole "World War One" ended with the power of friendship fit nicely. Pinkie forgetting what side she was fighting on was a nice touch.

According to IMDB, Tara Strong also reprised her role as Bubbles for an episode of MAD.
All in all, this sketch seems to be on par with what MAD usually does. I didn't hate it, but I didn't like it either. Mediocre at best.
Nevermind that Tara Strong played a purple unicorn here, this toon is all about Pinkie Pie being awesome. I approve.
