Was this ever even in question? Or as the also Great and Powerful Trixie would put it; "Was there ever any doubt?" lol And of course it's a badass setup. It's a professional studio, Cereal. Lmao. But the Brony shirt and FiM opening scene and logo on the screen does add a certain touch of fabulous to the equation. ;) I also find it funny just by looking at them I know most all that equipment's makes and models.

Well, as Fluttershy said during the Best Young Fliers competition, "WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Gosh, can these guys get any more awesome?! This is gonna be the season finale to end ALL season finales. They clearly want to end the season with a bang. I'd say they're gonna end it with an atomic explosion of epicness. It's gonna be a long, arduous wait for these two episodes, but I think it's safe to say it's gonna be so worth it.

My (rather uneducated) guesses? The two-parter will be episodes 27 and 28, and will be the Cadence/Shining Armor episode(s) that has been hinted on. Why 27-28? Because I seem to recall there being a rumor about S2 being 28 episodes instead of the 26 in S1 (there was a posting here some months ago about a visit to a local Hasbro, I think Italy?). Also, the timing of the Cadence/Shining Armor episode(s) has been shifted around a bit as of late, from fall to spring.
Of course, I could be completely wrong, but those are my thoughts.

that top screen seems to say that frame is from episode 14. no reason to be working on an ep that has already been aired though, so that means it is possibly a frame from season 3 ep 14.
all we know officially is that season 3 has only been approved for 13 eps. if this is indeed ep 14 from season 3, then that means this is evidence that season 3 got approved for a full third season.

It's always awesome to read about the creative process behind something as good as MLP:FiM. My favorite parts of Disney DVDs are the behind-the-scenes parts, where we're shown how scripts and ideas and characters and music for a given Disney movie are developed. I wish MLP:FiM would get a similar treatment in any upcoming DVDS. Soooo want that.

Still, he's got a badass mic, some decent studio monitors, and a Korg M3 on his desk, so it can't be all bad. I would be lucky to have a setup like that.

uh, that's an api 1608, serial number 100, which is not old! in fact foo fighters used the same board for their new album. it cost me a small fortune. you might want to google it, and the berringer thing is an extra headphone amp,doesnt get used anymore. the rack stuff if hi end botique, ua la2, 1176, pendelum 6386 which is like a fairchild 670, the mic in the picture is an akg c12 vr, which just happens to be up, the mic pres are original vintage neve 1064's, there is a closet you don't see with 8 computers and a bunch of other audio stuff, it has its own air conditioner with a hospital grade fillter on it....i have a lot of other great outboard gear, vintage mics, custom guitars, etc. i love gear.
and i LOVE those avantones. the other speakers are k&h 0300's, and i have a pair of yamaha ns 10's and then a four dollar pair of crap computer speakers. it's good to check your mixes on a lot of systems....
