I've really been looking forward to an Applejack episode. She's a great friend. Steady, even tempered, and always there. And I think that makes her tough to script, because some of the other ponies might have breakdowns or put other things before friendship but she seems to be the one who just keeps trekking, no matter what gets thrown at her. Even so, we've seen that she enjoys novelty and adventure, she just enjoys an earth-bound, homely routine as well. She has a distinct and interesting personality, but it's not a personality given to the dramatics this show needs for most episodes. She's not my very favorite pony, but she's definitely too often overlooked and underrated. A real winner in my book. I'm really looking forward to seeing what life throws at her today.
We're still hours away and I'm ready to roll. So curious to see how this will turn out for AJ. It'll probably work out in the end, but everything in between is always the mystery.

Also Earth Ponies being able to use bows is now canon because of that commercial. Not Crossbows, regular bows and arrows, chinese long dragons comfirmed to exist in the pony world.
