What a (non)surprise!
Even if I wanted to do a marathon I can't. Stupid work scheduled me to work mornings (I am not a morning person, AT ALL) and then whats worse, they scheduled me for an 8 hour shift (I prefer 4 hour shifts). I get to get up extra early, miss MLP, and then get to wait another half of a day to see it when I'm pooped, though it should brighten up the day. *Angry fist at McDonalds*
One of these days, i may attempt an all nighter for a new episode, but...
I can't help it. I love sleep. It's too nice to resist. :p even Ponies can't keep me from it. Sorry, but my pillow calls to me...

@karrotline Heh heh, no I can't get the toys for free. I've been there for a bit more than a year and a half and like, 15 months ago I think we sold MLP toys cause one day they assigned me to a register on the front counter and somebody stuck a purple unicorn on it. Who knows, maybe they'll come back around again if they re surge in popularity. We're on at LEAST our third round of Shrek toys in the last 2 years.
I can't get excited about CMC episodes, as I didn't really enjoy any of the ones in season 1. And I can't get Synchtube to actually progress to the next video, and it repeatedly disconnects me. I guess this is not meant to be.
Oh well, I need to sleep and go to work anyway. I'll watch the episode at 3 PM Pacific time, after everyone else in the damn world has already.
Oh, and seed more, you lot. Last week's episode's torrent on Ponyarchive was so slow it made Luna cry.

Why can't we all just love the CMC... is it so hard?
Whoops, my sense of time was way off, guess it was only half a year ago we had MLP toys. I like viewing ALL the drawfriends so I went through the archives and lo and behold, the first drawfriend occurred on the same day as an article concerning the McDonalds toys!
For the few people who will actually read this, (inb4 tl,dr) I do work at McDonalds.
Here's how you get the toys: Normally, we only carry two of each specific toy up front at a time. We're usually given about 8 large boxes of each type of toy a week, and depending on the location, the toy usually changes about every 3 days. Let's say the 2 toys are Twilight Sparkle and Fluttershy, they usually want us to go through all of the TS toys first before we bring out the next one, but sometimes both are brought up.
HOWEVER, all McDonalds should have something known as a "customer satisfaction box" which has every single type of toy available for whichever promotion is going on. BUT, we tend to go through some of the specific toys VERY quickly, so it is possible they aren't lying when they really say they don't have any more left as once that box is empty, we will not be given another, each store only gets one.
And yes, if you pull the "I know about the custom satisfaction" card on me and it's not really slow in the store (you MUST come inside, NEVER try and get a different toy from the drive-thru as you'll piss off the whole store), I will probably give you a nasty look unless I'm in a good mood; I've got a million other things to do and unfortunately, our "Happy Meal Room" is not in a convenient spot.
In short: Pull the "customer satisfaction" card within the first few days the whole series starts.
Go inside when it's VERY slow.
Try again every other day (or every day, just to be safe).
