If it was legit and leaked without permission I totally agree with your choice to delete it. In fact, if was real and we weren't supposed to hear it yet I truly apologize for listening to it.

The name of the song is still in the EQD RSS feed so it only takes a little googlefoo to be able to find a copy right now.
Don't worry, leaks much bigger then this happen every day, sometimes its even whole press version of a game (Deus Ex HR for example). Almost every fan of the series played it and what it caused? More traffic! So leaking something is actually more beneficial then harmful.

I heard a little bit of it, and from what I heard, it will be wonderful. That said, I want to wait to open my gift when I should, not because someone tried to sneak a peek. The creators and artists who work on this show deserve that respect.
Basically, and I may be speaking out of line here, it seems that a song that may in fact be a genuine article was leaked and apparently that's not making the corporate folks happy. Since we bronies seem to have an oddly privileged relationship with the creators we should, (even if it makes us goody 2 shoes) show our respect and not spread the possible leak.
I have no moral authority but I'm just saying as a fandom we've been very lucky and I don't want to risk it.

It didn't appear to be Daniel Ingram who leaked it though. The name of the poster of the original video matches that of an animator for Top Draw. Not conclusive proof, of course, but Daniel doesn't appear to be the source.

Okay, guys, I'll admit it: it was me who leaked the song. I work as a janitor for Studio B. I was cleaning out Daniel Ingram's office when I saw this awesome song on his computer. I thought I'd have to put this song on my iPod, so I took out my jumpdrive and downloaded the MP3. I then posted it online for all you bronies to enjoy. I am so sorry, and I accept all responsibility to the damages done to the MLP staff.

I don't understand why people say that Daniel Ingram would get in trouble for this. All signs point to this being a leak by an employee at the Top Draw-animation studio in the Phillipines. Both the name in the end and the country of the YouTube-account indicate this. Daniel himself has nothing to do with the leak, expect for creating the song itself originally.
