Actually, I think they're like the others, only SR is practically self-managed.
Say web comic A makes some designs for shirts.
In the same way Shirt Bronies did, A will submit the designs to SR, who will set up the shop, make the shirts and ship them.
A still gets money with minimal work.
In this way, who ever submitted them is practically anonymous.

I bought a World of Warcraft shirt from these guys a few years ago. I don't think it was licensed, but it was really high quality.
I hope they aren't centering the cutie mark...

You know, if you all want to be able to just design and order your own shirts, there are several websites where you can do so quite cheaply.

I actually work at customized girl so I might be biased, but I really do think they have one of the easiest to use shirt design centers and some of the best value for single orders.

I may have to support SharkRobot even though I don't like them. They seem to take a lot of liberties with other people's properties. However, they make a freaking Pinkie shirt that is actually pink! That's the one reason I don't have one from shirtbrony.
