    2. I like the new logo. And that has nothing to do with the charms.

    4. This is an awesome idea! The brony seems to have one of everything in stock currently (it's probably the ones in photos, lol), but I'll be sure to give him all of my money around the 9th.

    8. This is awesome. Is there any chance Hasbro might shut this down, though, being unlicensed merchandise?

I'm annoyed they don't make official stuff like this. :P

    11. Sold out already.

Hashbro is gonna lose so much money unless they come up with some DESCENT MLP FIM merchandise.

Yeah...I think there's laws against profiting off copyrighted works. I don't want to be the guy who kills the party but I'm worried that all these people making money off Hasbro's intellectual property are risking a serious shitstorm. As much as I'd love to see them (Hasbro) come to an agreement with the people creating their own merchandise I doubt it's going to happen.

Of course when you consider their marketing department trying to come up with things that a bunch of adult men would want to buy based on a show designed for little girls...well...stranger things have happened.

    15. AHHHH When is there more?! I would like to buy somes >->

    16. @Anonymous A bunch of adults obsessed over the show have much higher consumer's capability then a bunch of 6-old girls.

The sooner they realise that the better. However I suppose there is some kind of copyright circlejerk over MLP, as they could not even sell proper toys without recolouring them in some random colours.

    17. Aren't these just shrinkie-dinks?

      ReplyDelete
    18. @Anonymous Yeah that's kind of what worries me.

Marketing guy 1: Ok so...we have all these guys in their 20s and early 30s that like the show.
Marketing guy 2: So...how do we get them to buy products?
MG1: We could look online and see what they enjoy? Maybe check out some of the fansites and see what's popular?

Three weeks (and the horrifying discovery of clopfics) later...
MG1: So...let's...let's just keep producing toys for little girls.
MG2: Ye-yeah...*knocks back a shot straight from the bottle* Let's...let's just do that.

Actually I would rather like to have a giant pinkie pie pillow. That would be cool. And possibly a Fluttershy that I could hug and it would sing her lullaby. And a rainbow dash comforter.

    20. Hey guys! FlutterPie here form Tangible Cute.
Thank you so much for all your purchases! o.o I was so surprised when pretty much everything sold out in a matter of minutes.
Don't worry though! I should have more up there with many more cutie marks charms within the next couple of days.
If you haven't checked back yet, The first shipment should go out on Monday.

Sadly, I have to say that at the first sight of trouble from any kind of official looking thingies, I'll have to stop making pony stuff, so enjoy it while it lasts!

      How I make these:
These are shrinky-dinks ruff'n'ready plastic, but they are all hand-painted with acrylic Folk art & Applebarrel paint, and the painted side is sealed with a clear polyurethane coating after baking.

Sweet Celestia... I feel like I'm running a speakeasy for pony stuff! I'm glad you all liked it!
