Pinkie Pie has often served as the face of pony, at least based on all the vectors of Pinkie pasted on various Hasbro products, presentations, ect. She was the first pony that Twilight met in Ponyville and has always been the goofy one of the bunch. For the most part she has always been the force of positive energy of the group and has also been the one to come up with unorthodox solutions (and problems).
