• Singapore's First FiM Inspired Art Fest: The Cloudsdale Splash!

It's always nice to see conventions pop up that are overseas. A brand new event dubbed The Cloudsdale Splash promises to be the first FiM inspired art festival in Singapore! So if you're in the region check it out if you can and lend them your support!

Check on after the break for all the details about this new shindig.

The Cloudsdale Splash, Singapore’s first My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (MLP:FiM) inspired art festival will take place from the 20th to the 21st of December 2014 at the IMM Garden Plaza here in Jurong East, Singapore.

The event will feature workshops, panels and concerts by artists and musicians among My Little Pony fans in Singapore, otherwise known as Bronies (singular Brony). Admission is free and the event is open to the public. Attendees are encouraged to bring along art supplies to make the best of the workshops and panels at the event.

Art sessions will be held by artists from all corners of Singapore while musicians from both Malaysia and Singapore will also be performing at the event. The full list of artists and musicians can be found at our website http://cloudsdalesplash.com.

Ming Zhe (Phin Pie), the chair of The Cloudsdale Splash stated that the event is to “gather the
artistic side of the SEA Bronies.” A Brony artist in his spare time, he has seen the diverse colours of
the Brony art scene in Singapore and wanted to create an artcentric even where “everyone can
    come and have fun together.”.

The Cloudsdale Splash PR & Musical Director Daniel Anthony is from Malaysia. He believes that
“Singapore has much to offer in the Brony art scene.” and would like to give these artists and
musicians a platform to showcase their art to the public at large.

This is the second such event oriented around the Brony community of Singapore. The first such
event was Canterlot University, held on 22 June 2014. It attracted an attendance of over 150. The
Cloudsdale Splash hopes to attract a larger and more diverse attendance to share the spirit of
    community with the general public.
