• Game: Medieval Equestria Project

If you've been to any conventions within the past year or so you might have seen this little game at one of the booths at BronyCon, BABSCon, and Everfree Northwest. When I first saw it at BronyCon 2013 it was still in its earliest of stages and showed promise, but after seeing it again at Everfree Northwest this year I was blown away at the sheer potential this game concept has.

If you're a fan of open ended exploration and discovery this game sounds like it will be right up your alley! But to make it a reality the game needs help. Now that the basics have been established, the game lead Raynaron is looking for a variety of skilled individuals to contribute to this adventure and make it a reality!

Check on after the break for more information on the game (including a video) and info on how you can help!

    General:
An open world immersive equine adventure. In development by RaynaronGames on the next-gen Unreal Engine 4 platform. Inspired in part by RPGs such as Dragon’s Dogma and Skyrim.
With an Idyllic and magical atmosphere added to the mix.

    Gameplay:
The goal is to create an immersive and high quality third person experience. De-emphasizing the "game" aspect and having the player feel like they're living in a tangible, cinematic, medieval world. The player will be able to enjoy the world, to sit down and enjoy some ale at a tavern, use magic to play an instrument at dusk under a tree illuminated by fireflies, isolate oneself and hone their skills.

The world is ripe with magic, so much so at times it hangs thick dancing in the air.  Set out as one of the three races of pony with your companions and explore, overcome challenges, and discover the mysteries of this vibrant landscape
    .
Beware of traveling in the night, especially in unknown corners. Although you may find yourself in an idyllic environment most of the time, it may not always be the case. Let’s just say you can enjoy a peaceful world as much as you want, but if you go looking for it you'll find some things out there that are beyond all but the most gifted.

    Helping the Project:
Currently I’m looking for concept artists who excel in creating line sketches with a quick turnaround time of a few days or so. The artist would be able to employ their creative freedom as long as the art fit in with the medieval theme and semi-realistic style.  Concepts pertaining to character design would involve outfit designs and mane/tail styles. Another area would be in environment assets such as architecture, geography, and foliage.

If you are Interested in contributing some concept artwork email me at Raynaron@gmail.com or send me a note on DA at Raynaron.deviantart.com including a sample of your work.
