Calling this a work of art would only make it sound worse than it looks. If Hasbro took the hint, though, we'd miss all these great artists. Now I want to see Luna.

Yeah! As someone who comes from a proud family of pink-skinned people, I also find Sethisto's comment to be racist! Who does he think he is saying that albinos are better than pink-skins???
Remember: It's not all Hasbro's fault. The toy stores that order toys to stock their shelves said "White? If you make it PINK, we'll order more figures for our store."

Hasbro has the ability to make better toys. It's more than likely to be the buyers' fault for why we're not able to see this in the final products...I really don't understand why the stores wouldn't want the characters to look like themselves...
If they could make Rarity pure white why in all Ponyville can´t Hasbro do the same thing with Celestia, are they afraid that little girls might get it dirty?
For anypony that failed to read the description n her DA submission for it, SHE'S OFFERING TO DO COMMISSIONS OF THESE BECAUSE SHE ENJOYED DOING THIS ONE SO MUCH.
So you too can own your very own correct Celestia!
It should be noted that in the show, while Celestia may appear to be white on some screens, on a properly calibrated screen and with color-sampling tools it can be seen that she is in fact a very pale shade of pink (and it's not just scene lighting). So yeah, Hasbro had it right that she is pink, just that they got the shade way too over-saturated.

Should have thinned her paints and washed the crevices in pink to add a hint of depth and make her look a little closer to her show counterpart.

My own pet theory is that someone thought kids would confuse Celestia with Rarity if both were white. Not sure where that leaves Pinkie Pie however.

Whoa, that looks really awesome. I admire the patience and skill of those who can make such painting and modifications.

Yeah it is a very pearlescent pink, but I don't think white is that wrong either. Still wonderfull work
