This story made me shake in my boots until I realized what the creatures were, then it just gave me a very huge pit in my stomach. Well done, Roy! Keep doing the voodoo that you do so well!
Oh, wow!
This was fucking awesome. Spectacular. I shat bricks when I realized what the cultists were doing. 10/10 would read again.
Does anyone have a Google Docs version of this? I want to read it, but I have no interest in making a DeviantArt account to do so.
@floydhead42
Yes, yes there is!

MLP and horror are just perfect.
Loooooove it.
Slitting of hydrogen molecules?
Splitting?
H BOMB WEATHER?
@Anonymous
Yeah, that ending made me sad.
"H-BOMB WEATHER?!"
And then Derpy looked out at the bright flash near the horizon. "Oooh... BIG muffin."
Amazing story! I loved the Lovecraft style, I loved the Cupcakes reference, I loved the way old MLP and FiM were mixed, I loved the slight Twilight x Luna shipping, I loved everything!
There were a few typos but nothing to make it hard to read.
I can't believe I missed this story! I deffinately want to read more grimdark from this author.
This post would be far too long if I said all the good things I want to about this story, so I'll only say this: There are very few works written so well that I want to read more based on the author instead of the premise. This is one of them. I have a lot of reading ahead of me.
The first, third & 4th youtube links are adding http://www.blogger.com to the youtube links. Just FYI
this was alright, but why did you call it "the hoofwitch horror" of all things? it seems to have very little to do with that particular lovecraft story.
To ponies, we might as well be the spawn of Cthulhu.
